Fender Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Child Cable Black

I have always wanted a cable like this as I thought Jimi Hendrix looked cool using one. A good buy for the money. A great product.

Coiled cables are not just cool looking. If you play with a lot of guitar pedals a coiled cable will help A LOT. It just stays out of the way and you don't trip over them. I had a Fender coiled cable before and sadly, it had a short within a year. I guess Fender rebranded their cables as Voodoo Child because the older model Fender cables were gone. This cable has much heavier hardware on the ends which is very good. The other coiled cables on the rack at Guitar Center were shoddy with no "sproing" to them. It's just a cable, yes, but it's a really really good one.

I've read reviews that have said this cable is too heavy to deal with, and it actually is true when you pull out of the box; it's heavy as hell.BUTDo you want to know why it's a coil cable? Because it needs to be stretched out; not necessarily while you're walking around while playing, or while you're staring at it and wondering why it's so heavy, but when you use those two very beneficial body parts you call hands and stretch them out by grabbing the cable and extending it throughout.It actually becomes much lighter, and it actually extends pretty well.
