Just a fantastic all rounder guitar. Play clean, crunch and heavy gain. It can do it all.

This guitar reminds me of the short scale line Fender brought out a few year back. I was not expecting to be smaller than a strat. Reminds me length wise and play wise of a Duo-Sonic. Standard player humbuckers and I will likely upgrade these. Their solid enough but I'm looking for a little more punch. Very solid platform, the bridge and saddle are nice. Tuners stay in tune. I picked up one of these in purple. They color is not a solid purple and had a metal sparkle to it. Very unique. I went with the Lead 3 because you can split the coils and get 2 single coils, whereas if you get a Lead 2 you will be stuck with single coils and not have the versatility of having both a humbucker and a single coil.

Very nice and well put together guitar. Excellent finish on guitar. Twin humbucker pickups, very versatile with options of coil splits giving this guitar a variety of sounds. A quite light guitar and would recommend it.
Arrived on time in perfect condition. Great guitar with easy to play neck and great sound from the pickups
PMT service is fantastic, ordered it on a Sunday had it buy the Wednesday that week. Unpacked it gave it a quick tune and of I went started playing. This is my first fender and what can I say it's a lovely looking guitar, well finished and sounds great . There is a lot of variation you can get from switching between the different pickups which I love.
I really like this guitar. I normally play fender strats but wanted a neck Humbucker in a Strat style. It would have got 5 stars but for two reasons 1/ the fret ends weren’t the best and I filed them to make them more rounded and easy on the fingers, 2/ I really am not that keen on pau ferro and prefer either rosewood laurel or maple boards but this one was quite dark for PF which was nice and I will darken it further with Monty’s spresso wax ! So overall really great value for money and one mark down was just personal preference ! Having said that I love the metallic purple colour !
I have gotten old and my fingers get uncooperative at times and it makes it difficult to play up on the neck, that's where this Hot Purple Player comes in. The sound is Great, & Playability is fantastic. I went for the Purple HH, and couldn't be happier. Once I played one, I let it follow me home. Its very well crafted, and built. When I pick it up I can't set it down. Any smaller player, young, old, or whatever should try these out, I definitely love this purple guitar, don't miss out!
Great sounding and looking instrument, lots of tone options and a great satin neck. Just needed a bit of setup to sort action and intonation - plus some fretboard oil.
Setup so poorly it was unplayable until I set it up myself. Shocking.

Fender - Player Lead III - Sienna Sunburst - Maple Fingerboard
I bought and modded this guitar last year during the pandemic to give a go at making my version of a perfect strat-like guitar. This guitar has been a blast. The pickups are a Seymour Duncan JB / jazz set with the JB at the hardtail bridge and the jazz at the neck. These are my favorite pickups ever, have the same set on my SG. The SG doesn't have coil splitting though and the mahogany is just too warm and dark for for the single coil sound imo anyway. The upper switch is the basic up=neck, mid=both, down=bridge. The phase switch (lower one) was replaced and re-wired for coil splitting. Up position is both humbuckers are tapped, middle is just the bridge tapped, down is both humbucking. I will include the original Fender humbuckers as well.
