Pretty decent quality acoustic for this price. Of course you can find minor imperfections along the edge trim of the body and where the nut is glued to the neck, as well as poorly sanded internal bracing and the edges of the pickguard, but that's if you really sit there and look for them.More importantly the finish is great where it really counts, I.e. edges of frets, fingerboard, bridge etc. Overall for a budget guitar made in Indonesia it's fairly well crafted. Good playability and action, the resonance of the body is decent enough, and plugged in it sounds even better thanks to Fishman electronics.Comes with a 2 band EQ and a pretty intuitive built-in tuner. And all mahogany version with satin finish looks spectacular.

I have a sapele Martin Dreadnought Jr. which I love, but was looking for something full size with a classic spruce top sound, a cutaway and built in electronics. I'm mostly an electric player and love Fender guitars. This Player series Redondo is just about perfect. It has a great sound that strikes a balance between sweet, focused and full. It doesn't have the resonance of the all-solid wood Martin, but it's close. Also, the playability is better than the Martin. I was able to set it up with great action and it plays pretty much like my Stratocaster. The look, sound and feel is really inspiring, which is what I look for in a guitar - something that begs to be picked up and played. I'm even tempted to upgrade to the Classic version to get an all-solid construction . . . We'll see.

I bought this guitar for the neck feel. It's an easy player. After running the floor demo through my routine I accepted one in a box that felt similar in all ways. The Player series have "bone" nuts ... I got it home and the first bend I did on the G-string I heard a "ping" ... now the G has uneven tones when played open, unless the neck is bent back very slightly. I do have protection plan and Guest Services were courteous and helpful despite COVID-19 pandemic. Tukwila staff are absolutely amazing and deserve great praise for their exceptional care and concern for every detail of my visit.

I unpacked this guitar out of the box and was impressed right from the start. Everything was high-quality. I tuned it and began playing it. I believe that there were high quality strings already on the guitar when I purchased it. Overall excellent guitar! I will be shopping from ProAudioStar again for more of my musical needs because I am impressed. Excellent buy! The guitar even had a 9v battery already in it! Nice!
So now that I've had this guitar for a little while I've got to say I really love it and can't believe how nice it is for under $450 list price. Though if I didn't know the price I would just think it's a great guitar period!Solid spruce top, layered mahogany back and sides, cutaway, incredibly comfortable neck profile, mahogany neck with a walnut fingerboard, Fishman CD-1 pickup, sounds great acoustically as well as through my Fishman Loudbox Mini amp, and to me it's just beautiful on top of that (love the sunburst!!). It's been a great addition to my guitar family!By the time I bought the hard shell case and the 3 year warranty it was just over $650 after TN sales tax... still all of that combined it's still a great deal for a guitar I thoroughly enjoy playing!!
I’m no professional but I’ve played for many years. This is the first fender acoustic I’ve bought (own Yamaha and a Martin) but this guitar is great. Comes really well set up, great action, lovely neck feel, and the fishman pre amp sounds amazing. Without the amp it sounds great. Lovely tones perfect for my style of playing. Great beginner guitar as well. And a great price. Would highly recommend
This Fender guitar is awesome. Out of the box it is almost perfectly set up. The intonation is off just by a little bit and only with 2 or 3 strings. The sound seems a little washed while playing chords, but single notes are loud and clear. All the frets have edge treatment, nice and smooth. The synthetic bone used for the nut and bridge are way better than plastic, allowing for a long sustain. The guitar could use better tuning keys, but the guitar stays in tune good enough. Over all my guitar was built well, and I'm glad it sounds good, too. I would recommend this guitar for all beginner guitar players because of the sound quality, and anyone else who don't have the money for their dream guitar.
I WANTED to love this guitar SO MUCH! It was absolutely stunning. A beautiful guitar! I had the metallic lime finish, that's no longer available. Unfortunately, it just sounded flat.. Sorta dead sounding. I kept it for a while, hoping it would "break in", or at least grow on me. I would reccomended a $150 Yamaha F335 over this, for sound. I have the Yamaha for a cheap beater guitar, can't be beat, dollar for dollar. This Fender has the looks, though! And I loved the painted Stratocaster inspired headstock! Fender DOES deliver a good product, for such a low dollar amount!
mine came in the natural color i dont think mines made in china its made in indonesia it was set up pretty perfect when it arrived has cool colorful kind of midranged higher sound that fills the room and surprisingly not really much overtone and volume that digs into the eardrums so you can hear yourself play good and guitar good with vocals if you dont bang on it and a little more depth than most guitars they make now days i had a really cheap fender and it was horrible about thatthis guitar perfect it is a perfect low priced gigging guitar with high smooth sound with not to much high volume overtone and the pickup in it is also really really smooth sounding sounds really really excellent especially with just my old peavey tube amp and my donner delay pedal in ...
