What a great invention - an everyday carry light that also doubles as a power bank. I carry this in my pocket for a quick light and like the peace of mind that if my cell phone is dead, I can charge enough for an emergency call. I added some rubber bands to hold the lanyard while I carry in my pocket.

The plastic cap/light diffuser is the portion of the light which I'm suspect about lasting for a long time in a keychain; I'd expect it to get broken or lost in time. In my use case, with the light in a pack, I've got no concerns.If asked for a suggestion to improve the light I'd recommend engineering it so the male USB-C port could be retracted into the case for protection, have a rubber cover to go over the USB-C ports which was affixed to the case, and either forgo the diffuser function of the cap or make it integral with the case such that it slides into place when needed. These suggested changes would not alter the functionality of the unit, but would increase its functional lifespan.All told I can definitely recommend this little light/power bank. Nicely done, Fenix.

Got a couple of these for gifts for my daughters as purse items, wife already has one lost in her hand luggage. For the flashlight portion as an emergency device it is well planned and functional. As I pointed out about the lost in purse problem that is on the individual. in a pocket with the sturdy case it's no problem surviving in a back pocket that is not falling off roller or ice skates onto the cushioned parts of the anatomy. Fenix has been my go-to for lights for awhile and have not had a "dud" yet.
I thought the review below from the iPhone user was harsh, because this is a really cool design by the Fenix engineers, and works really well. Carry a multi-adapter and get over it. This little light is bright enough and functional enough to be an EDC.- It has a small hole for a lanyard or cord and can be positioned above as an overhead light,- it's thin and flat and fits in a lot of EDC pouches perfectly, even if you have to have an adapter cord for iPhone.- multiple light modes, including Red, which preserves your night vision.NOTE for iPhone users: Power off your phone before charging, that's the only way this will charge your phone, and you will get well over 10% charge, its not super fast, but in a pinch this is a great option to carrying a bulky 5K or 10K ... It's very slim, so it fits easily into a pocket unlike small round flashlights. I'm happy with the various white and red light levels, and ease of use. I haven't yet used it until the battery is drained. It's darned handy to always have it with me, and I've pulled it out many times looking for things and assisting while working in darker places. If you need to hold it in your mouth while you work, it's way easier than a round light. I have an Otter Box protector for my cell phone, and the battery bank port does not plug into my phone because that protective cover is so thick. I'm looking for a 2" - 6" USB C extension cord to deal with that. The ability to always have this light in a pocket and not even notice it makes me glad I bought this.
The e-spark is very useful in a number of situations. When looking inside a cabinet, it provides better light to find what you are looking for. It is also useful when entering a dark room to get an item without having to turn on a ceiling or floor lamp. The slim design allows it is be carried in a jeans pocket without making a big lump.
I know this is supposed to be a backup battery, but it's also a really cool very slim flashlight, or it could be. I just with they had thought a little more about the way the buttons work. As an astronomer and pilot, I want a light that will stay in red mode unless I take an explicit action to change it. With this light if you touch the button the wrong way you get white light again, wiping out your night vision. oops.
Very Handy Light, Good Features & Only One Flaw (surface too slick)OK, I actually love the light. Size is nice, like the flat shape which fits well in pockets. I especially like that it has both white and red LEDs. Run times are also good. I'd actually give it 4 1/2 stars because of one flaw. This is a flat light with smooth surfaces and a small button on edge to operate. It is "slick" to get a good grip! It is so smooth that it slides easily around in the hand while you are trying to hold it. I'm going to solve this by wrapping some adhesive Talon Grip material on the flat sides to keep light from sliding around in my hand. Textured rubber surface.
Very useful EDC light and battery backup. Slips easily into a pocket and light works well for dark sidewalks or as a red flasher for safety. I haven't tested the charging capacity, but my sense is this is a good backup battery for an emergency call rather than expecting a to fully recharge a phone. Great stocking stuffer!
