Initially, I was very unsure about this fragrance mostly because it’s Rihanna behind the brand. However, as i’ve continued using this fragrance, certain notes have begun to appear that have made me fall in love with this product. This fragrance is made up entirely of middle notes to provide a unique experience for each wearer, on myself i’ve mostly picked up the rose notes which I do love, but have recently started to pick up blueberry as well and a slight hint of tangerine. Although this is described as a long-lasting scent, I would not consider it that, as it usually disappears on myself after a few hours. I do LOVE this fragrance, but the first time I sprayed it, all I could smell was rose… so please keep this in mind when considering purchasing this fragrance.

I was stopped by men, older women, younger girls, and asked what I was wearing. I carried my bottle around with me in my purse this past month to refresh at lunch and after work and I pulled it out at least 7 times to show the people who stopped me, what I was wearing. I wanted to get the full experience of this fragrance before I wrote my review and I’m glad I waited because this last week 3 people stopped me in public and told me how great I smelled and asked for the name of rheumatologist perfume I was wearing! All 7 people who stopped me this month were quick to try a couple sprays on themselves and take a photo of the bottle. I am very grateful for the opportunity to try this fragrance and to share it with those who I came in contact with this month. I’ve already bought a bottle for my best friend who is now in love with it, and I’m gifting one to my mother and another to my grandmother for easter. Fenty’s perfume has become one of my most worn perfumes!

While Sephora does have a generous return policy, I want to save you the possible disappointment you’ll receive after paying for it, and questioning if you want to go through the process of returning it.I’m rating this a 3/5, because while my experience was less than ideal, I can see some people enjoying this scent (just please try in store before you buy!)

It kind of reminds me of very mature scent, taking me back to when I was a child playing with my grandma’s perfumes. That’s the only thing I can really relate the scent to.Despite my initial bad first impression, I continually tested this daily to see if it’s a grower. Admittedly, the scent does grow on you with frequent use. While it grows, my fondness isn’t what I would define as going out of my way to wear this daily, or even during a special occasion. This is a rare time in which I’m questioning whether or not to keep it, or give it away to someone who will hopefully appreciate it.The scent is strong at first and lingers for hours. I found that as time went on during my day to day activities, the traces of it quickly minimized. This isn’t a fragrance that lasts throughout the entirety of your day. However, I will say that if you dare to touch yourself up with a spritz - it layers well.This is not a fragrance for everyone. This is one that you either like or to put it bluntly, don’t. I’m surprised that I don’t like this - I can tolerate it, but if I didn’t have to test it out thoroughly to review, I wouldn’t have used this past the initial spritz test.I’m rating this a 3/5, because I can see some people enjoying this fragrance. While I can definitely see how this fragrance may be polarizing, I personally love this perfume and have been wearing it every day since I received it. First, the bottle is super gorgeous. The bottle itself is an amber colored glass that has a bit of weight to it, and the lid is a hard plastic that doesn’t feel flimsy but still light.
