Only had the saw for a few days so have only used it a couple of times. I am really impressed with the power and quality of cut that it can produce. I did a trial with some off cuts of 40mm oak worktop. I have a large Bosch table saw that can struggle with this stuff but the festool saw easily went through it with no slowing of the blade. The cut edges very smooth and clean. I even managed to cut slices of the oak that were less than 1mm thick something that my Bosch could never do. I do find the user interface for the settings a bit fiddly but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of in. So initial impressions are that it is a very capable machine with a lot of innovative features that will take my woodworking to the next level.

Wonderful set. Enough power and capacity to perform finishing work, e.g. trimming narrow infill panels when assembling the kitchen. Super compact design, quick and very easy to use interface to adjust the angle and height of the saw blade. Ultra-smooth operation of the sliding part of the table (I love it) all accessories have their place in the lid of the box. So... 4ah batteries don't last long (that's the only one I have for now), although I suspect that even 8ah won't allow you to work for one shift. (ah, if they introduced a 240v adapter, it would be a dream come true) but it is what it is for now. The main thing for me is the small size and weight and that's right. Overall i'm very happy :)
I'm a hobby woodworker and have been eyeing this machine since it was first produced. It seemed to have everything a small table saw could have so I went for it and am delighted at how well thought out everything about it. I confess I've been a Festool fan for many years and dleighted with this machine
