Absolutely in love with FIFA 19

I've played soccer since I was old enough to walk. I've followed European football starting with Mourinho's tenure at Chelsea in 2004 (when I was 10 years old). And naturally, as someone who loves tactics and seeing the progression of FIFA, I have been following FIFA very closely throughout the years.I can confidently say that this is easily the best FIFA to date - and it's not just a simple minor improvements (like the constant new iPhones). This FIFA leapfrogs the other FIFA in terms of setting up teams for tactics, realistic pitches/players, and engaging in Fifa Ultimate team. It really does feel like EA has massively stepped up to release this game, and I can't imagine another FIFA being better until VR is introduced. Another Great Year for The FIFA Franchise

To preface my brief review, I will say that I'm a predominantly online player. This is a pretty good installment of FIFA. So far, I feel like FIFA 18has slightly more crisp gameplay, but that is a game that has been through a year of patches. Hopefully FIFA 19 can reach that level.The new menus look really good, and everything seems to be pretty quick & responsive on the PS4.The graphics are pretty similar to FIFA 18, to be honest. The replays look way better due to the "fleshed out" pitch and new audience. Players are more detailed. However, most of this is lost in the typical broadcast camera while playing the game. Ball control is more realistic, and you can blow by people at high pace. Passes are crisp and the animations look great. Shooting is similar to previous iterations, but there does seem to be a wider range of possible goals (you can score from more angles & positions & ranges). However, it still has the flaws of previous games. There are quite a lot of goals from corners, which is more of a minor concern. A bigger concern is the amount of "WTF" goals, commonly referred to as cluster____ goals. Way too often you'll be left wondering how on earth the ball conveniently fell to the feet of a striker when three people collided, or why two of your defenders managed to run into each other and give up a stupid goal.Ultimate team seems to be somewhat improved. They changed some minor things in how you can generate chemistry between players. They also greatly improved the search functionality for the market; you can now search for specific players.Overall, it's a pretty worthwhile pick up if you play a good amount of FIFA.I am writing this review as a walmart associate for a contest.

Awesome for Soccer Enthusiasts

FIFA19 brings the newest players of the current 2019 Soccer League as well as 4K Ultra HD Graphics with HDR to get the sharpest image resolution.The game menu looks pretty similar to the previous versions of FIFA and it remains simple to start a kick off right upon game start.In-game experience playing vs. the computer was actually challenging... On the previous FIFA18 I was able to beat the computer during a kickoff game, however for the FIFA19 the computer scored 2 goals one me within the first 45 minutes. Cracking game from EA Sports but.....

Well, another year, another FIFA. One of my biggest gripes with EA Sports is the similarity year in, year out, kits and players may change but you don't get a lot new... Well, it seems that way usually but with small improvements. This year they have included Champions and Europa Leagues along with the normal competitions. The graphics have improved, the gameplay is more realistic and the atmospheres stunning. Working my way through the game today and it's good. It's bloody good. Maybe the purists will find a few mistakes and things not to their liking. I for one thought it a bit unrealistic that most fans wore the same thing! Well 50 for a game that was around 30 (without the extra material) a couple of years ago, is steep for some.. especially if you buy the game year in and year out. But then consider what you are getting for your money. It works out about 1 a week. If you play it all the time, and some will, it's well worth it. They could still do more imho. Again weather conditions are limited, commentary is good, but can be repetitive occasionally. Would like to see more fouls from AI opponents, aggressive behaviour from players, commentators criticising poor refereeing decisions etc. etc. And more variety in the crowd... But then I'm a purist. I rate this 8/10. There is always room for improvement. But on the whole, very good. It certainly wipes the floor with PES in my opinion. Let's see more than 1 update throughout the year though, not just after the January transfer window. A bit more detail next year please.

FIFA will always be class

Fifa 19 is an outstanding game which is a different class to the previous fifas. This is due to the vastly improved game graphics, different/new game modes which have been implemented and just an enjoyable, fun game. It is always good to play a game of Fifa when bored, or need some relaxation time after a long day at work/school. Ultimate team gives you the chance to buy and sell players and create your dream team, which everybody has always wanted to do. Similarly with career mode, you can either be an individual player, and watch them go from club to club, eventually becoming a great football figure. Or, you can manage a whole team, by controlling the transfer market and playing in divisions and tournaments. I highly recommend you buy this game!

Feels like we're playing a SUPERMAN, not a human being!

I have played FIFA since 2002 and EA Sports has done very little to make the "intelligence" (the AI) realistic in that period. I STILL feels like we're playing a bunch of supermen. The AI players know exactly where to position themselves so perfectly, they run at a perfect pace, they somehow manage to take away the ball from you 75% of the time and the ball bounces in amazing ways you don't see in real life-EVER! NO ONE plays football in real life the way the AI plays it in FIFA - you HEAR THAT EA?!!! ***NO ONE!!! *** I am playing in World Class level in manager/career mode and I have reduced the speed and acceleration of the computer to 47% when mine is 50%, and STILL, I am losing every game now in my second season as manager. Tweaks, Refinements & Improved Gameplay!

FIFA 19's refinements make it more fun to play than ever! This years' version builds upon its strong game-play and fascinating presentation. Precision ball control allows the offensive player to create space from its defender through subtle movements. It's difficult to master each players' skill set, but once you do, you can create some of the greatest eye-catching moves from the best players around the world. I love that player ratings are fine-tuned and that shooting and passing feels more realistic. This game is a great holiday gift for any football fan and I couldn't be more excited to play online with friends. I wrote this review as part of a contest but I stayed true to my opinions and really do love playing FIFA 19!
