Bought this product so I could use my DT1990s and HD800s when using the tablet or my phone without the need to use BT earbuds and I gotta say, this device does the job well. Sound is clear with plenty of pre eq options for any occasion. Though you will need add some extra bass (if you like) as the BTR15 favors more mids and highs over the lows. The battery life is as advertised, though to get the full 8hrs, remember to switch / stay in PC mode, as this will keep the device from draining the battery.Overall, great product for the price, highly recommend.

Quality:good product, sound quality amazing on USB.Performance:Awesome quality, little buggy usb connection on Tidal but once it connects its amazing. maybe it's my phone though. equaliser transition also causes some form of a restart as well.

Just used it for a few days. Very usable Dac amp. Bluetooth adds to usability, at slight and minimal cost of quality. When used as a wired dac, it shines through. Good enough amp for my iem. Balanced port has better definition, and so is what I use. Stage is good. Warm feeling. Very happy with it.

DAC works great! Definitely a recc for people who still like wired earbuds but dont want the wire connected to their phone. Also works great as a dedicated PC DAC and wireless AUX receiver for your car!
There are still more options with wired IEMs or headphones compared to TWS or Bluetooth headphones. Most wireless devices follow a V shaped sound signature. With more bass treated as an improvement. I like a more neutral sound signature as it works with wider range of uses, not just music that benefits from more bass. BTR15 lets me choose from a wider selection of options.
Design- Small And Snug- Is supplied with a clip cover so you can attach it in your t-shirt, lower, etc.Build- The front and back glass is curved- Can be slippery without cover, but the size is too small for that- The sides are made up of some kind of metal, and feels good in handBluetooth- There is an option to disable bluetooth codecs in fiio control app which you don't want to use.- Range is good (about 10 mtr, without any obstacle)- Connection is stable.Battery- About 3 hrs in bluetooth mode, with low gain and 25-40 volume range.- Charges in less than 2hrs (almost 1hr 40 min)SoundBass- Punchy and rounded, with ample amount of sub bass- Mid bass slam isn’t very powerfull, but still it’s the right amount- Upper bass feels light.Mids- Just ... MoreDesign- Small And Snug- Is supplied with a clip cover so you can attach it in your t-shirt, lower, etc.Build- The front and back glass is curved- Can be slippery without cover, but the size is too small for that- The sides are made up of some kind of metal, and feels good in handBluetooth- There is an option to disable bluetooth codecs in fiio control app which you don't want to use.- Range is good (about 10 mtr, without any obstacle)- Connection is stable.Battery- About 3 hrs in bluetooth mode, with low gain and 25-40 volume range.- Charges in less than 2hrs (almost 1hr 40 min)SoundBass- Punchy and rounded, with ample amount of sub bass- Mid bass slam isn’t very powerfull, but still it’s the right amount- Upper bass feels light.Mids- Just Like upper bass, lower mids feel’s light, but still holds enough clarity.- Overall mids aren’t very forward or shouty, but rather smooth.Treble- Ample amount of air and little to no harshness.- Not a very energetic treble, its just smooth.Soundstage- Stage has equivalent width and depth.- Good with unbalanced, Very good with balanced port- Sounds very holographic/3d.Imaging- Not pinpoint but still everything is placed evenly- Bass is forward, and mids are placed, bit behind.- Instruments are placed around your head.Drivability- Can power my hd 600 to a acceptable level, but maybe they require more juice 🫡.Resolution- Comparing with my ka3 the resolution is comparable, but still the ka3 win in terms of overall clarity, as it sounds more cold and bass light.Conclusion- A very enjoyable sound, which is smooth and non fatiguing.- Difference between wired and bluetooth isn’t very big, but there is.- Battery in bluetooth mode isn’t very long lasting.
I was sceptical before buying this..But this is now a good addition to my listening collections. My B&O, Sennheiser and Sony are performing the way they were created for...Maybe higher version could perform better, but this is in my satisfaction..
In terms of audio quality, its pretty good. It just works well. There's not much to say. This is a well made product, it's what it says on the tin. It works with all my devices (mostly), it sounds great, the unboxing experience was nice, so on and so orthHOWEVER, you should note a few things1- Spotify is giving me so many issues, oh my god. This is more on spotify's end I feel, since it doesn't seem to recognize DACs, it is convinced the device is a bluetooth headset. Troubleshooting didnt do anything. The biggest issue I have is that I have to disable my speakers on PC everytime I listen on the spotify app. It does not play music otherwise. If I disable the speakers before playing a song, spotify has an error. I have to play the song, then pause it, disable my pc speakers, then press play. After that, there are no issues2- The next and previous song doesn't always work. I mean I don't rely on it at all, im comfortable with my phone and laptop's controls so it's not an issue for me, but thought it's worth noting3- The gain setting makes me wonder a little. There's only a high and low option. I wish they either labeled it differently, or had a 'default' option. The option names make me feel like i'm changing the way the original audio sounds, it's silly but it makes me wonder if live albums actually sound like this or if the BTR15 is doing somethingAlso, the manual could have a little more detail on what the different settings dooverall, would still recommend, with these caveats.
