Compared to the Fiio X5, iii, the Android system is fast and stable. Sound quality decent, but not as good as Sony or Astell&kern. Battery life depends: a. Bluetooth aptX excellent. b. 2.5 mm decent. c. 4.4 mm not great since the high power drains the battery pretty fast. Overall, it's an above average player. If it weren't for the hissing issue of the M11, I would have bought that one and save $250. This one should have been priced at $450.

excellent crafted with high attention to detail...top shelf component ...and the android interface is easy to use............music sounds incredible, with sparkling highs,crystal clear midrange and superb lows....also prefect soundstage...Now i understand that everyone has a subjective sound that they prefer...However i assure you no matter what type of muisic you love...this player will certainly maken100% better....hands down...

I purchased the M11 Pro to replace my 8 year old iPod Touch 32GB which was starting to show its age, especially with the inability for support of lossless audio formats.I'm no audiophile but I do appreciate the higher audio quality of what a decent DAP can offer over the standard consumer grade audio players.I was using Shure SE215's with my iPod Touch and didn't get the audio clarity that I believed the Shure's were capable of, so when I switched to the M11 Pro with them, I was blown away by how good they now sounded. In fact, most of the apps I have installed on my Samsung S8 worked with the M11 Pro which I was impressed with, if you decide you want to use apps on it also.The device itsels feels very premium, it's heavy but not too heavy, it's large but not too large, and fits nicely in your hand even if you're into the sharp/angled designs.It has a nice list of audio customizability in the audio settings, such as the ability for output selection, gain control, lowpass filter mode, AirPlay and In-Line Remote (you can tick this if you use headphones with the volume control buttons to change volume/skip songs), and more. The in-line remote feature does work but the feature is a little buggy (hopefully will be patched in future updates).One of the best features I like is that it has a "Pure Music Mode" that you can select from the top-down swipe menu, where it changes to the Fiio Music app, and hides the rest of the Android homescreen/apps so you only get the music player mode. This allows no chance of accidentally closing the music app so you just get the music experience without the Android UI clutter.The 64GB internal memory is great as you may not initially have to purchase a MicroSD card if your music library is small like mine, but can be upgraded if required in the future if you want to use it as a storage device also, or load movies on it for long trips.I'd post some pictures but the review section doesn't allow attachments sadly, but if you're looking to purchase one, and aren't afraid of the price tag, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Just ensure you have a complimentary set of headphones to really have the best audio experience, a $10 pair from a cheap convenience store won't get you far. I would recommend going into your local audio store that allows you to demo the unit so you can get a feel for it as well, while using your own headphones to see if the purchase is justifiable to you.My Shure SE215's work nicely (upgraded from the now-discontinued Audiofly AF56's) but I'm definitely considering upgrading to the Campfire Andromedas or something that'll really bring out the best in the M11 Pro.My iPod Touch served me well over the last 8 years, however I plan to use this player for many more years than that.

I recently purchased item at the beginning 2020, I originally planned to purchase standard m11 however the cost of the m11 pro DAC akm4497 cost 75aud each and the thx amp alone cost 200 aud. Also you are gettt MQA full decoding and also extra memory. So you are getting more hardware than the price difference between m11 and m11 proI'm glad I did, the sound is truly high end. My reference is a T+A DAC DSD.It gives a different tuning to the T+A however the emotional connection is just as strong. I believe it's a truly high mark for daps under 1000 aud.That and it's so portable. Don't hesitate if you think it's not worth upgrade over standard m11. Also there is a stainless steel version which would elevate the sound furtherVery impressed 5 stars
Really nice. has a line out to feed into amps. Only finicky thing is the volume control wheel. Absolutely horrible and have to use the touch screen to adjust volume. Seller was fast and responsive and came in mint condition.

Paired with Campfire Andromeda earbuds, Fiio M11 pro produce incredible sound and deep base. (not cheap wooble base from beats). Each song sound different, and unique. If you like music, if it gives you emotions, then this product is for you. Because this player will give you emotions you never had with cheaper products. I was skeptical about old android operating system, or that it will be slow, but after several weeks of use, it did not had any issues. The player is increadibly smooth and user expirience is great. I know it's not cheap, but you should spend money on something you enjoy and use often. Something that calm you down, drives your fellings and let you escape boring reality.

My first DAP. I'm happy with the sound quality and how easy it is to use this. Battery life is okay, wish it could go longer, but it is close to the battery life stated in the specs.
