Finish Jet-dry Rinse Aid, 23oz, Dishwasher Rinse Agent & Drying Agent Pack Of 2

This is my absolute honest opinion of Finish Jet Dry Rinse Aid Agent that I have been having to buy for five years now…..I say ‘having’ to buy because that is when we bought the worst dishwasher ever made!! Finish Jet Dry is basically the only reason my dishes get clean at all!! And when the dishwasher runs out of the Finish Jet Dry you definitely know it!! Not only do the dishes not dry properly, but they’re still dirty too!! So needless to say I make sure I always keep Jet Dry in my dishwasher!! I’ve always used Jet Dry, but I never realized just how well this product actually helps the dishwasher work. If you want clean dishes; then you need to get some Finish Jet Dry!!

This rinse agent helps get my dishes completely dry when my dishwasher cycle is over, which speeds up my unload process! It's very easy to dispense without having to come into contact with the solution. Each fill on the dishwasher lasts our house at least 3 weeks, and the dishwasher gets run just about every day; since it requires only a small amount to fill, this lasts for an incredibly long time and I find it to be a worthwhile investment. It also keeps my dishes smelling clean and fresh when I unload them, which is a nice touch!

Bad Bottle Design

Bad bottle design! Tried to use fill dispenser from full bottle. Grrrr. Very carefully held finger over tiny opening, lowered to fill dispenser and rinse aid goes flying. The bottle might work when it’s half empty. I called the help line printed on the bottle and asked for suggestions on how to fill the reservoir without spilling. She kindly put me on hold to look up the solution and came back to tell me to mop up the spill with paper towels and dispose and then wash the area .

Bad packaging

The product, a bottle of "finish rinse aid", was packaged in an amateurish and haphazard manner: the bottle was 4.25" wide, 2.25" thick at the base, and 9.5" tall; it was placed in box 11" x 8.5 x height 9.25" with no plastic cover to protect from leaks and no packaging material to restrain movement of the product in the box. In the shipping process, it must have been banged and shuffled around some as the product lid came loose and leaked out in the box. The postal delivery person rang our doorbell and advised there may be some damage based on appearance of the package. And sure enough when we opened the box, we discovered the mess.

Completely dry and nospots

*Finish Jet Rinse Aid works really well. I have a brand new LG dishwasher and without using *Finish, my dishes had spots and did not dry completely. After troubleshooting, I called the manufacturer, and they suggested using our rinse aid, which surprised me, because this model has all the bells and whistles. I’m familiar with the product, so I bought it for this dishwasher.What a difference!!! My dishes now shine, they dry completely and have absolutely no spots.I’ve always been a *Finish fan; now I’m convinced I will use the product with my current and future dishwashers.

It’s a necessity

I am a stickler for clean dry dishes especially plastics as I put them away capped and not stacked. Being dry is essential for sanitation. I love everything about the Finish line of products. I use not only the Jet Dry but also the Finish Ultimate dishwasher pods and Dishwasher cleaner. Excellent products. The Jet Dry gives me clean, dry and sparkling dishes and it’s a beautiful look when a dinning table is set with clean and sparkling dishes. Silverware with zero residue and no spots.Tidy house keepers this is a must have.

My FAVORITE Household Product with Lots of Uses!

I use Finish Jet-Dry Rinse Aid for more than just my dishwasher. While I never have spots on my glasses using this product, I also use it for window washing once or twice a year. Put hot water from the tap into a large bucket; Mix in 1-2 Tablespoons of Dawn Liquid Detergent and 1-2 Tablespoons Finish Jet-Dry. Spray outside windows/doorwalls with the hose to get them wet. Then using a long handled microfiber mop dipped in the bucket, wipe the solution from the bucket onto the windows and screens generously really well...top to bottom and sides. Hose off really well until no soap suds are seen. Then let them dry completely. DO NOT try drying them with a rag, etc.! Just let them air dry for several hours and look at your spot free windows! One of the OG rinse agents

As a general rule, single purpose items perform that duty better than and item attempting to perform more duties. You can get dish washing pods in so many combinations ... two gel swirls that are the same color? Two gel swirls that are different color? Three swirls all different color. Those swirls boost the price higher and higher. Bring it back to basics -- a separate detergent and a separate rinsing agent and see how it compares.

Our Picky Chihuahua Loves It

Our picky Chihuahua got to the point where she refused to eat a well-known, but less expensive brand. So, even though this brand is more expensive, we tried it.She is picky when it comes to dog treats too. It took me forever to find one she likes. The problem is the one she likes is rarely in stock.So I was hesitant to purchase so many cans without knowing if she would eat it. I gave so many dog treats away, just looking for something that she would like. Why? Because I’d buy them and she wouldn’t eat them, point blank!I bought this canned dog anyway, because she eats the same brand name dry dog food. She eats it totally dry grudgingly, therefore I have to mix canned and dry together for Miss Picky, lol.To try this new canned dog food, I mixed dry dog food ... MoreOur picky Chihuahua got to the point where she refused to eat a well-known, but less expensive brand. Slightly more concentrated version of the standard rinse aid formula for moderately hard water.

If you have a very hard water this is probably not going to make any difference for you.. This is nothing more than a concentrated slightly more potent version of the regular rinse aid essentially allowing you to get a little bit stronger dosage from the same amount helpful for dishwashers that do not allow you to adjust/increase the amount of rinse aide to be dispensed. It’s a step up my dishes are a little bit shinier and it works for me because I have moderately hard water. If you have very hard water again you have bigger problems to deal with and you need to invest in a dishwasher that has the ability not only to adjust the amount of rinse aid that gets dispensed also one that has a dedicated refillable salt water softener compartment. Overall a good product it’s a step up it’s not a revolutionary improvement don’t expect a miracle if that’s all you need is a slightly better stronger version of the regular and say this is it. It won’t solve your major hard water problems though.
