I bought this game a few weeks ago and have already completed the main campaign, however with this games History Mode there is plenty of content for you to sink your teeth into. The gameplay loop of completing missions and upgrading your weapons is really addicting and always has me coming back for either short or hour-long gameplay sessions.

Bought this game on a whim, was not disappointed. I've never really played Fire Emblem, so I didn't really know the characters much outside of Super Smash Bros, but I was instantly hooked on the smooth character designs and flashy fighting sequences. The gameplay is definitely the most enjoyable part-- the aforementioned graphics are exciting; the Weapon Triangle, type advantage/disadvantages, and Pair Up system add an excellent strategy element to what would be just a kill-everything fighting game; and the ability to switch between and command characters adds more mulitasking and strategy to the mix. Of course, the game is not without its flaws. The story is rather lacking in terms of real depth and development, which didn't surprise me much. There's also a certain amount of grinding that may or may not be necessary to progress once "late-game" hits (I don't actually know for sure, as I haven't gotten to that point yet), which, compounded with the fact that the game likely starts to become stale after a couple dozen hours of play, might be a turn-off to some people. Still, the game is very enjoyable, and is probably worth buying just to experience the flashy graphics and unique fusion of strategy and hack-and-slash. Fire Emblem fans should buy it 100%.

First off the delivery was practically next day! I didn't expect it to show up as soon as it did so kudos to cex!The game itself is fantastic! If you are a fan of musou games (dynasty, samurai, warriors orochi) then you will love this game! It has full dialogue cutscenes, lots of characters to level up and lots of missions to complete. This game also has the 'if a character dies in game, they are dead for the rest of the game' feature or you can play it like a normal game.Definitely one to get since it's a switch exclusive and also has quality and performance modes as well so 1080p 30fps or 720p 60fps which is so fluid when you do a special attack against 100+ enemies.

Gameplay is very fun, it gets a bit repetitive but that's just to be expected with a Warriors title. This was a blast! The main characters were pretty easy to like and get attached to. The gameplay was stellar, absolutely phenomenal gameplay as I expect from a Warriors title. The story mode was cool, though most of my playtime was spent in the history mode, those were fun. I however do wish Ike was in this game though, in fact the amount of Fates characters are ridiculous. Other than that I really like this game, pretty good for fans of Fire Emblem or fans of the Warriors series!
I bought this last week and I am hooked it is a great game really fun gameplay and a great story to. Plus there are also loveable characters which want to make you keep coming back to play it over and over again. Also being an avid switch player (partly a collector). It is one of my favourites already got over twenty hours on it.
I have always enjoyed the Fire Emblem series. I have played them all. Fire Emblem Warriors leaves turn base game play behind plays like Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. The graphics are great and looks better on the Switch than the 3DXL. Bottom line is you will enjoy FE Warriors on your switch for hours of fun.
I bought this game to go with my switch alongside Zelda: BotW and this game is the one that's kept me playing (Mostly because I'm a huge Fire Emblem fan, but that's by the by)The game follows the standard Warriors format up to now - Large maps, thousands of unnamed generic enemies and embellished officers (Known as Heroes in the world of FE:W) that majorly stand out from the crowds of peons. It also takes some of the staples of the Fire Emblem series, like the Weapon Triangle and Pair Up, and uses those to great effect.Being able to pick two Heroes, both using a different weapon type, and switch between them on the fly to maintain an advantage against whoever I'm fighting is a joy, and the unique dialogue between characters who'd never before interacted in the ... MoreI bought this game to go with my switch alongside Zelda: BotW and this game is the one that's kept me playing (Mostly because I'm a huge Fire Emblem fan, but that's by the by)The game follows the standard Warriors format up to now - Large maps, thousands of unnamed generic enemies and embellished officers (Known as Heroes in the world of FE:W) that majorly stand out from the crowds of peons. It also takes some of the staples of the Fire Emblem series, like the Weapon Triangle and Pair Up, and uses those to great effect.Being able to pick two Heroes, both using a different weapon type, and switch between them on the fly to maintain an advantage against whoever I'm fighting is a joy, and the unique dialogue between characters who'd never before interacted in the series (Missed opportunities from the source games, like Chrom and Cordelia; or cross-game hero interactions, like Lyn and Celica) is delightful and entertaining. My main gripe with the game is that the main story isn't entirely too long, especially compared to main series Warriors titles. That said, the supplementary content and History Mode that lets you replay major battles from the franchise in a way similar to Hyrule Warriors' Adventure Mode is super fun and jampacked with tonnes of stuff to do and things to unlock. All in all, definitely an enjoyable game and well worth the hours I've put into it so far.
We were hoping for a classic, turn-based RPG or at LEAST some elements reminiscent of such games that came earlier in the series. This plays more like a Dynasty Warriors game with little to no challenge, likely intended for child-aged or beginner-level gamers looking for something colorful and silly to play and watch as opposed to an actual epic with deep, complex gameplay elements. If you like modern anime and the story-telling there, you'll love this game. If you're looking for complex gameplay with intriguing plot twists beyond your average cliches and cheap, romance-related hooks, you're better off sticking to the PS1 and PS2 era of games.
The fighting gameplay is the same as hyrule warriors with attacking and combos. The characters from fates and awakening are the only ones I knew but they others are really great. The story is pretty great too. I think the Ai characters are better than hyrule warriors they can actually take out the boss enemies if your chosen character is weak against them but you have to pay attention to their health. The weapons triangle makes it interesting as planning which characters to fight with is important. The elements it takes from fire emblem are really great. It’s an excellent game
