The mask was not what I expected. I thought it only had a nasal pillow, however, it had nasal plugs that go into the nose and is very uncomfortable. Because this vender does not provide any form of refund or credit I am out the $54 I paid. Living on a fixed income this is a burden for me and I still have no gear. I would not recommend this vender or the Brevida Nasal Mask.

I bought this mask because I couldn't find a decent price on a replacement large pillow for my Airfit P30i mask which I love. LankyLefty from YouTube also spoke highly of this mask. First off, I do like the mask. It's amazingly quiet and lightweight. The downside is that the m/l pillow isn't large enough for me. I've used it for 4 nights now and both sides of my columella are scabbed over from the rubbing. I've had this issue before with other masks, but fortunately, they've all had larger pillows for me to switch and alleviate the problem. If you have a medium or smaller nose, I think this mask is a slam dunk. I have been struggling with Sleep Apnea masks and head gear for years; when I called into CPAP Supplies one day late last year to get my usual supply of replacement masks. The gentleman I spoke with over the phone was wonderful, and asked me how I was getting along with my mask. I told him the truth, I didn't like it all that much, but it was the lesser of several evils when it came to leaking, painful masks that left sores on your face the next day. My customer service very kindly suggested my trying a new type of mask, The Brevida, as it had been getting rave reviews for it's comfort and superior ability at containing air leaks. I figured "What the heck" and asked him to toss in one Brevida and one headgear with my order, on the off chance the mask would live up ... MoreI have been struggling with Sleep Apnea masks and head gear for years; when I called into CPAP Supplies one day late last year to get my usual supply of replacement masks. I have noticed little to no air leaks, absolute comfort, and I even manage to keep from ripping it off of my face halfway during the night. This mask is definitely worth it for me to switch. Anyone with mask problems should give this a try!

I have used the P10 mask for several years without problems. I have also used an O2 ring that put on my finger to monitor for AFib. If I go into AFib during the night (it gives a distinctive pattern for the pulse rate when I am in AFib). Then, my sleep doctor upped the setting on the CPAP from 7 to 11. For six months since then, the green smiley face on my CPAP machine turned red every morning. So, I was monitoring my oxygenation level with the readings from my O2 Ring (which I generally had excellent numbers).Lofta offered a sale which allowed me to try a different mask and I chose the Brevia nasal pillows. I have been using the Brevida now for a little over 2 weeks and I have to say it is the best mask I have ever owned and I have been through quite a few over the past 15 years. During my transition from a CPAP to BiPAP device, I have gone from a full mask, to a nasal mask and finally to pillow mask and none, including the several other pillow masks I have tried, have provided as much comfort and leak prevention as the Brevida. Not only is the mask itself very comfortable and minimal in design, contrary to another review here on it, I find the head gear to be the best ever. A note on the head gear however is that instead of wearing both the rear straps over the back of the head, I wear the lower of the two on the back of my head and slide the upper of the two over the ... MoreI have been using the Brevida now for a little over 2 weeks and I have to say it is the best mask I have ever owned and I have been through quite a few over the past 15 years. Not only is the mask itself very comfortable and minimal in design, contrary to another review here on it, I find the head gear to be the best ever. A note on the head gear however is that instead of wearing both the rear straps over the back of the head, I wear the lower of the two on the back of my head and slide the upper of the two over the top of my head. For me it stays nicely in position this way and helps accomplish a leak proof seal with the mask. I really like the fact that the straps which fit over the back of the head are smaller and have no buckles or Velcro on the back of them. It's the first head gear set that I really can say I hardly notice at all against the pillow. The only thing I did find, if you can even consider it a negative which I do not, is that you really do have to try both pillows (so make sure to order both sizes) and play around with the head gear tension a bit to find the optimal fit, but then that is usually true of most masks. All in all, this one is truly a winner and I would not even consider going back to my previous mask, the swift II nasal, after wearing the more comfortable, more leak resistant and lighter Brevida. Bravo Brevida!
I had hoped for the best with this nasal pillow mask, but I found it to be too leaky for my face shape. I bought the largest size offered, but I think it might have been better if they had an XL size. I liked the overall design, but I just can't tolerate any leakage; and the more it leaked, the higher my CPAP dialed up the pressure - not a good combination.
I purchased the Brevida nasal pillows mask on 3/2/2017. I received it yesterday and used it last night, 3/6/2017. I usually wait until I've had a product several weeks to review it, but I am impressed enough after one night that I would like to go ahead and endorse this mask. First off, traditional nasal pillows are hard for me to breathe through, but nasal masks do not always provide enough air through my nose. The Brevida is a mask than I can breathe through naturally; it gives the best of both worlds. Before obtaining my Brevida, the most comfortable mask for me was the Pilairo Q. However, the Pilairo had two major flaws. For one thing, the pillows had to be pressed very firmly into the mask frame in order to avoid leaks, and after only a week of use this was difficult to do. The Brevida does not have this flaw. The Brevida nasal pillow is attached to a hard piece of plastic that clicks in place when secure. I practiced clicking and unclicking a few times, and the equipment looks and feels sturdy. I maintained a better seal than I ever had with the Pilairo, and the "click" mechanism looks like it should hold up at least as long as similar mechanisms by other manufacturers. The second advantage that the Brevida has over the Pilairo is the headgear. Note that the Brevida is intended to be worn loose. I did have my headgear slip a little the first night, but an easy adjustment was all that it took to fix it. The adjustment was made with the lights out while I was hooked up to my CPAP machine. Waking up only once when I'm used to waking up twice and not falling asleep after the second wake was a very enjoyable experience. I slept an hour past when I usually wake up, and I am more rested today than I have been in a long time. The biggest piece of advice that I would give is to not overtighten the headgear. It needs to be snug enough to maintain a seal, but the cushion inflates more than traditional nasal pillows. I would suggest trying several different tensions and running a mask fit before going to bed the first night. That worked for me. My other word of advice is to let the cushion inflate for a while before rolling over and going to sleep. I put the mask on with a mirror before going to bed, but while the cushion was inflating I gently lifted each side of the "air pillow" to help it inflate better, and it really did help. I will continue this procedure. I am a side sleeper, but it was relaxing to lie on my back for a few minutes while my machine ramped up before turning over and quickly drifting off into peaceful sleep.
The F&P Brevida CPAP Mask was a terrible disappointment:1. The headgear is so loose, that even when tightened to the maximum setting, it won't stay on. If I were petite, I might think it was because I was too small, but at 220 lbs, I am not a small person. This headgear is too stretchy and too big.2. From day one, the mask leaked severely at the 360 degree swivel joint. I felt like I was being air-conditioned all night long.3. The weight of the tubing pulled on the stretchy headgear, so the nose pillow never stayed snug. It was always partially pulled away from my face, which caused it to leak constantly around the nose. The only good thing I have to say is that the nose pillow is very comfortable and would have worked beautifully if the headgear had been designed ... MoreThe F&P Brevida CPAP Mask was a terrible disappointment:1. Something to secure the tubing to the top of the headgear would have held the nose pillow in it's proper position, improved comfort, and prevented leaking. What a shame! This CPAP mask could have been great, but it wasn't..
I recently received my Brevida Nasal Pillow Mask, and I am very impressed. I have only been using a cpap machine for a few months, but have had a terrible time of it. I was using a highly rated mask made by a different company than the Brevida, and it was nothing but misery for me. The Brevida is quite comfortable and my electronic reports look much better. I have had essentially no leakage and significantly less instances of apnea with my new mask. I highly recommend it, and CPAP supplies shipped promtly and at a great price.
compared to other nasal pillows this has extra silicone cushioning around the pillows so less leak. and esp because there is a support like area underside it does not tip out of your nose by the weight of the hose. Its the only one like this. next try to develop a top of the head but with the same supportive nasal set up

Fisher & Paykel - Brevida Nasal CPAP Mask
Fisher and Paykel developed the Brevida Nasal Pillow CPAP Apparatus exclusively with the CPAP patient's comfort in mind. With features like easy adjustable headgear and the new innovative AirPillow seal for a gentle, effective seal. The New Brevida Nasal Pillow apparatus is an updated version of the Pilairo apparatus. The AirPillow is designed to be worn looser than other nasal pillows. As the CPAP air enters, the AirPillow inflates sealing in and around the bottom of the nose. This is in comparison to other nasal pillows that form a direct seal on the nostrils. The silicone on the Brevida pillow is softer and thinner than other nasal pillow apparatus, which makes wearing this CPAP apparatus a very comfortable experience for the CPAP user. The cushion isn’t worn as tight on the nostrils, therefore less pressure is required to seal, so the silicone doesn’t need to be as durable.
