Fisher & Paykel Built-under Dishwasher - DW60UC6B

I am so disappointed with this product. We went with the advice from the salesperson at Carseldine Good Guys. This dishwasher is too small for my dinner plates (which are standard size) and does not wash as well as my previous Bosch dishwasher. I have had it 3 months and I already want to throw it away!

Amazing

Really good space for cutlery and dishes for a family of 5. Easy installation. Even in the fast program all the dishes come out clean. Really quiet operation

So far the dishwasher has been amazing. Operation is easy and it is so quite you don’t even know it’s running.

Fisher and Paykel Washer review

The wash cycles are too long. The fast wash just does not clean the dishes. The dishes are not dry on completion of the cycle. The normal and eco washes are efficient, dishes come out really clean (but not dry)

Great Dishwasher

No issues so far, though the guy Good Guys used to install it bent one of the legs underneath it. It's staying put and not enough of an issue to get them to take it out and replace. Just letting everyone know to check that. I didn't notice until after he had left and I took the kickplate off to adjust it as I noticed he hadn't levelled it properly.

Great dishwasher

This dishwasher is great. The black finish looks fantastic in the kitchen, especially with the matching fridge, and its easy to use. The Heavy setting works really well for cooking pans and it is ultra quiet. This is the second one I have bought as the first one was sold with the house, so I had to buy another and couldnt go past the same model.

Not quite there

While it's quite and easy to operate the internal configuration falls short. The bottom rack can't fit a dinner and bread and butter plate next to each other without hitting. The spacing in the fold down racks does not work well for bowls. The upper rack is uneven so light cups fall over during the wash, taller glasses don't stand up well and jugs and pots also don't position well. The top utensils rack takes away valuable room from the upper rack for pots and we have gone back to using our old utensil basket. The utensil rack attracts condensation from the drying phase (hot air rises) so the utensils don't dry properly and the rack is covered water when finished. The unit had to be screwed into the cabinet from inside the unit so has rubber seals but the screws protrude into the adjacent cabinet. 109 minutes for a standard wash is quite long but at least quite. Our our 20year old Blanco dishwasher had a better internal design and finished quicker.

Terrible machine - do not purchase

Doesnt wash properly, dishes stay very wet even on extra dry function. Ive had to wash a load 4 times on 4 different cycles to even dissolve the dishwashing tablet. Very disappointing.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

Does not clean dishes properly. Nor does it leave them nice and dry. I wish I had chosen the LG. I thought buying a F&P I was guaranteed a good machine. looks nice, but thats it. If I have to wash my dishes before I put them in, the machine is useless.

a little dissappointed

after our top of the range Ikea dishwasher (re-branded Electrolux) decided to give up the ghost after 6 years, I opted for a Fisher & Paykel to match in with the cabinetry of the kitchen. Despite being very similar in size, it just seems to have less space. Whether that is not as efficient design of the trays and racks, I'm not sure, but as a family of four we struggle to fit our daily use in where as before we would always manage. no internal light, very basic interface. on the up side, it is very quiet.
