Cooktop looks great and dimensions are 60cm unlike the other brands I considered. I am still finding it hard to work out which temperature is simmer as the power is applied periodically. This means you need to keep watching up to the boil and to get the simmer right. The instruction book goes to great detail on how to remove baked on residues. The smaller of the dual elements is 12 cm and you will find there are no modern stainless steel pots with this base size. But it looks good.

Our new cooktop is terrific. I ordered online, was in stock and then picked up and they bought out to the car for me. Once installed we have used it every day, simple and easy to use and cleans with no fuss. Love it.

Really pleased with cooktop. Heats up fast and is easy to clean ( no knobs to clean around ).Only drawback is that both large elements are at the back. Would have preferred to have an option of one at the front. But this is just personal preference.Very happy with customer service.
It looks perfect. Works well, we are very pleased. Though we have only used it a few times so far.
My first electric cooktop purchase after using gas for years. So, these are the things I didn't think to consider that might be helpful to others:2 lg elements at the rear - makes it awkward to cook. At least 1 large at the front would be more ergonomic. Also causes more splash against the back wall from fry pan or bubbling curries.Elements don't get hot enough to get a largish pot of pasta or rice to a rolling boil. Even with pre-heating the largest element and preboiling water in the kettle. A few things I make that rely on liquid boiling off, I still have to use a portable gas burner. If there's a bit of spillage, or you rest something on the cooktop (eg the hot lid of a pot you're cooking in while you stir) the whole thing sometimes turns itself off. A safety feature I guess, but is a bit annoying. Not many of my pots actually fit the element sizes.I think this cooktop would be fine for people who mainly cook in smaller quantities (singles or couples). I'm finding it not very practical for larger quantities with a family.
This replaced a Ceramic cooktop with buttons that were a grease trap. in that regard its great being completely smooth. Downside, touch sensitive buttons slow to respond and tricky to set temperature. Both large burners are at the back which is a pain if using a frypan or something that need constant stirring. Disappointed with the heat up speed of the elements. Overall its not great for the price.
We had to teplace an existing F&P ceramic cooktop which we broke by dropping a spice bottle on it from the shelf above. As we had found our cooktop which we had for 3 years worked reliably we did not hesitate to replace it with the identical model even though at a higher cost that most of its competors. We have only F&P appliances and will continue in the future as our needs arise.
A little tricky to work out how to use initially but no big deal. You do have to hold the "on" button for a few seconds but thats actually a good feature as my mother's similar cooktop (different brand) comes on as soon as you touch it even when wiping the cooktop down and its very annoying. Heats up really quickly and cooks evenly...we are finding it much better and easier to use (now we've worked it out) than the gas cooktop it replaced.
Easy to clean. Looks stylish for a great price. Installation 5 minutes for electrician
