Absolute crap range hood.Constant problems since I bought it. Grease gets sucked through the light fixtures as well as the vents, leading to grease all around the light bulbs and constantly having to get someone to come in and change bulbs.... can't just change them myself because it has to be opened up to unscrewFilter also doesn't work as my wall behind the extractor is all discoloured

Lovely looking rangehood BUT a globe went after 4 months and FIsher and Paykel advised (after many phone calls) that it is not covered under warranty and it must be installed by a technician…$140-$220. There’s nothing in the manual to say this, and it even gives instructions how to do it! Don’t buy!

Disappointed and returned as installed 11 January and touchscreen doesn't work. I was also disappointed that the replacement push button Electrolux ERC925DSD (IPN 746113) is not expected to reach the Hayborough SA store until mid March at the earliest and more reliably April 2023!I couldn't risk that a replacement touchscreen F&P Rangehood would have the same issue so I researched reviews and will call other stores to find out if anyone can deliver earlier.The staff at BHL Hayborough are fantastic and are arranging a refund through F&P for both the rangehood and Electrician installation and removal.

My previous rangehood is the previous version of the same brand. Sadly, it stopped working a month before. So I searched several suppliers and find the best and most reliable one with The Good Guys. Price is good and I just waited two weeks (not as some other supplier said, I might have to wait from two weeks or months, so uncertainly, then introduce me something else. )Since it's nearly the same type, so my husband installed it by himself, saved the installation fee. Now it's working perfectly.
This rangehood has very good extraction power. I have a volcanic rock grill on the top of my cooking range, so it was very important to have very strong extraction. This usually means that the unit is noisy, however, this is not so with this appliance. It is also easy to clean and looks very sleek. Very happy!
Just over 5 years use and blew a fuse last night. Will find out tomorrow what caused it when the electrician arrives. I hope it's not too bad as definitely think we bought the right range hood. It looks good without dominating. It's great to have the various speeds. I mostly have used the lowest speed which is also the quietest. The filters are easy to clean in the dishwasher. We added a stainless section to the exhaust cover as we have high ceilings. Only thing against and this would be common with all extractors, is when using to extract a lot of steam it can condense and drip back down.
Had this range hood for a bit over 3 years when the fan motor burned out. F & P would not cover it under warranty. I replaced it myself with a new motor. That lasted 18 months and has died. Avoid this product. Very poor quality.
We brought this range for our new build in 2020 and absolutely loved it - it is a nice design! However, now 2 months out of warranty period the fan has stopped working completely - Electrician has come out and found the fan had burnt out. Now reading lots of reviews of this happening very frequently around the 2 year mark. Disappointing and would not recommend anyone to buy this product. We have now swapped brands and couldn’t be more happier with our new range!
Very good rangehood. Powerful multi speed fan, though a bit noisy on high, which you'd only use briefly anyway. Lighting could be a bit brighter. Needs strong anchor points, like wall studs, so get a professional to install.
I bought this rangehood 2 years back and it is just out of the warranty when it went bonkers!! The light bulbs started flickering and we thought it may be a short circuit. We got a technician in and his diagnosis was that the circuit has crapped itself. To replace the circuit you need to pay one third of the price of the rangehood. So the circuit is good for 2 years and then you need to replace. Seriously!!! Heard so many horror stories on F&P.
