We recently purchased this oven from Harvey Norman and have been very impressed by its quality and capabilities. As long time Meile owners we initially looked at the latest Meile offerings but couldn't justify the $13,999 price tag. Time will tell if the Fisher & Paykel oven will go the distance but our experience so far has been excellent.

We bought this in 2015 for our newly renovated home. We wanted high quality, functional and effective appliances that looked appealing in our kitchen. I loved the look, features and mostly the self-clean option! It's amazing how the oven turns out after a self clean! Really enjoy using the rotisserie function, very easy to use and roasts get cooked evenly. Cleaning the trays gets complicated due to their size, but i do not regret choosing a 90cm oven. I have never had issues with the oven or baking. The only thing i don't like is the fan situated on top of the oven releases all the air into the kitchen (open plan home). The odour becomes quite strong in the bedrooms and throughout the whole house. My only solution is to close all doors before I bake. For the second time this year the self clean function on this oven has caused the oven door to remain locked. I booked a service call and was told that I would have to wait ten days. Today, the day of service I was told the service person is ill and my service has been rescheduled for another week. The first time this happened, only one service person arrived, without the part, and I had to wait another week. And now today, I'm left without a functioning oven. It is unacceptable that an expensive oven should break down twice in a year, considering I only bought it a couple of year's ago. Also unacceptable is Fisher Paykel's lack of interest in bringing the rescheduled service earlier.
