Great fridge. Very easy to use and practical. Although shelf spaces don't fit certain jars, sauces etc unless you take a shelf out, even though they're adjustable. So they have to be on the door shelves. This then takes up space from other items you'd normally put on your door shelves. It'd be nice if manufacturers measured the size of grocery items you put in your fridge and manufactured fridges to size accordingly with the adjustable shelves.

Bought this as an upgrade from an older model S*****g. Much more room and doesn't seem to dehydrate my fruit and vegetables like the old model did. I miss not having ice in the door but without the ice in the door feature I now have more fridge room. I use one of the bottom sections for fridge and drinks and the other side as freezer. The ice maker is a lot slower than my old fridge, taking double the time to make ice. One issue is that it gets covered in finger prints so if you are thinking about this fridge I recommend getting the model that has the handles. On one side the door needs a firm push to close due to how they seal together. Also, the fridge door is quite a bit higher than the top of the fridge so if you have cupboards above your fridge cavity you may ... MoreBought this as an upgrade from an older model S*****g. Adjusting the feet to the lowest point made no difference. One review mentioned the water connection hammering and only one cold glass of water but I have not had that problem with mine. The water will click off for a few seconds to re-chill after about 1.5 ltrs.

The layout of this fridge is truly functional. Well designed, spacious and everything carefully thought out. Yes as others have said the dark steel dies leave fingerprints easily but its a small price to pay for such a great product. It took a while to get the ice maker to fill the whole tray up but once full it just maintains it perfectly. The freezer compartment is huge, the draws are strong and sturdy. We had a 680l fridge before this and this fridge just organizes everything so much better and fits just as much. The left freezer which is able to be set as freezer or fridge is a real plus! **CONS** the right hand side veggie drawer cant be accessed by just opening the right hand side fridge door, you have to open both due to drawer width. No big deal as we dont need to do it so often but perhaps a future design tweak Love this fridge and would chose the same design again if we were fridge shopping. Great purchase!!

We chose black stainless steel because it looks stunning in our space. Very happy with the handless design and the functionality of the fridge. We chose this fridge as it is one of the very few 4 door fridges that fit in our space without looking stupid. ( big gaps and etc)The good guys website made it very easy for us to chose this product. Only criticism is that there should be accessories like egg trays that should come with it.
Our builder allocated a space in the walk-in pantry for the fridge, which means we have very limited choices when it comes to how the fridge door would be opened. This fridge does a perfect job by providing us with an opened space yet built with 4 doors. It is very quiet and water plumping option to the fridge is an easy peasy job. Practically nothing to pick on about this fridge other than the commonly raised issue - Leaving finger prints on the door and having to make sure the doors are closed properly (No magnets to ensure doors are closed). Just need to wipe them prints down and the fridge actually makes noise if you didn't close the doors. All good! Just hoping it last!
We are about to embark on a kitchen reno. As I design kitchens for a living I am pretty fussy about my appliances. I also design commercial refrigeration for bars and commercial kitchens so I am doubly fussy. The F&P was a left field decision. I wasn't in the race for a Leibher or Meile, (which I would have loved), so further down the tree I had been looking at a "tap tap" French door fridge, and had homed in on a pretty good model from our Korean friends. Which are pretty good fridges for the money. We were ready to put our money down. Then we spotted the F&P.The styling was good, the feel of the fridge was pretty solid, and the front to back depth is shallow, so we looked harder. Which are pretty good fridges for the money. We were ready to put our money down. Then we spotted the F&P.The styling was good, the feel of the fridge was pretty solid, and the front to back depth is shallow, so we looked harder. Interior layout is great, and you don't lose heaps of depth in the door with the water dispenser. A great plus. The bays in the doors are very deep, which we like. On one door we keep 6 bottles of wine, rather than on the wine rack like we had in the old fridge, and this works much better. With the deep door bays then obviously the shelving is therefore a bit shallower, but we like that too. You don't loose things down the back. About the only niggle we have is an egg carton doesn't fit in the door shelves, but we've bought a egg rack and it works fine. The access to the freezer is superb, the way you can set one side of the freezer to any of four settings is also good. We haven't plumbed it in yet, but the ice maker looks promising. The promo photos show the fridge nicely flushed into cabinetry, and this is also a plus for me. Along with the shallower cabinet depth as noted earlier. We haven't stated the reno yet, so I won't bother with pictures for now. But I will achieve a really sleek look.So overall, great a few weeks in delivery.
The filtered water feature is a good feature. This fridge requires a plumbed tap installed by a plumber. We had the exact Fisher & Paykel fridge which was 10 years old. Due to a pesky mice the fridge died and so did the mice. We looked at a few different fridges but we liked the large shelving and the new style freezer cupboards. So far we are pleased with the new fridge and having the four doors makes the fridge very usable and versatile.
Bought this fridge to replace an old french door. The Fisher & Paykel has additional features including the freezer draws (so much easier to use), an icemaker, cold water and a draw in the freezer that you can use as a fridge, if need be. The fridge is blissfully quiet.Inside, there is loads of space, moveable bottle racks and great lighting. It does take a little time to get used to opening the fridge using the hidden handles - so as t not to leave smudge marks. Would 100% recommend the F&P.
This French door fridge is definitely pricey compared to others. But we thought that the Fisher and Paykel reputation would mean we got better quality. This was not the case. While the fridge is spacious and we love the large shelves that easily fit platters, there are just too many little things that let it down. Not a biggie I know but the energy saving sticker in the outside was soooo difficult to get off. It took hours coming off in small pieces. The doors are constantly covered in fingerprints that are incredibly hard to remove. And the doors are stranded in a way that the left side does not shut properly when the right side is shut first. The alarm is constantly going off because of this. It’s designed as a family fridge but definitely is missing the family ... MoreThis French door fridge is definitely pricey compared to others. The alarm is constantly going off because of this. It’s designed as a family fridge but definitely is missing the family features such as fingerprint resistant and self closing doors that our old Samsung had. The ice maker inside the freezer section is OK but like other reviewers have said the mixture of drawer opening locations is complicated and kids opening the freezer to get ice once again leaves it covered in fingerprints. Definitely not worth the extra paid for the F and P brand in my opinion.
As we already have a large stand alone freezer, we wanted a large fridge with the option to change a freezer compartment to a fridge. We were deciding between this model and the Electrolux with the drawer (that could be climate controlled). Also wanted water and auto ice maker. Finally decided on the FP as it had more storage space and seemed have better quality drawers, shelfs etc. This fridge is so quiet it's hard to know it is on. The ice maker is great! not on the door but easy to access and it frees up so much space in the fridge and on the doors for storage. The climate controlled bottom right fridge/freezer area we is used as our mini bar fridge.
