I've only had this machine for 2 weeks but I'm super impressed with it's performance. My old machine was one that had wash cycles of a minimum of 90 mins and I couldn't add any more clothing once I'd started the wash. These functions on my new machine are really appreciated, with my standard wash only taking an hour. By far this is the quietest front loader machine I have ever used being barely audible even while spinning at 1400 rpm. Good job Fisher & Paykel - very pleased so far. Fingers crossed that it lasts as well as I expect it to.

This is my first front loader and I love it. It was installed as part of my free delivery and a installer ran a quick cycle. Plenty of wash cycles to choose from, so easy to work out how to operate this machine. ActiveIntelligence auto doses correct amount of detergent, wash & rinse times/requirements so kids have no trouble trying to work out how much detergent they need or how to use, so they can help do the washing and I have no worries how it will turn out, clothes come out perfect every time. Machine is very quiet, & can’t hear it running outside of the laundry. So often run at night with no disturbance to sleepers. Lots of wash, temp & spin options. Only negative is I have a little trouble with the power on/off & start buttons being a little tricky to master, sometimes doesn’t register me touching them softly or hard but that is very minor and I’m not concerned about that. I believe I’ll master it after I’ve used it more. I would suggest users ensure they leave the door open to allow the machine to dry out after each use, as I can see that could cause machine to smell more than a top loader. I highly recommend this machine.
This is the first nice/proper washing machine that we have owned, and boy, does it make a difference! Whisper quiet, to the point where i have to check sometimes that i turned it on at all, and actually cleans our clothes properly without leaving detergent streaks on the clothes once they dry! REALLY big fan on the 'add a garment' feature too. always happens when a load is put on, and my partner will throw a tea towel or something, at me to "quickly add to the wash", which is usually too little, too late. But not anymore!

I had initially been concerned about the large size but it handles small loads very well without over sudsing (using a low sudsing washing powder). My previous font loader would overflow water when over sudsing occurred but this machine has a great feature that sounds an alarm (beep tone) and pauses the washing until the suds settle (which usually isn't very long, and is certainly quicker than me having to mop up a sudsy overflow like I had to with my other machine). The cycle options are great and are an appropriate/expected length for a front loader. I generally use the cottons cycle, sheets and allergy for linen, towels, heavy and the quick 30 for pre-washing extra dirty work clothes or kids clothes. The one draw back of a front loader for towels is that even using the towel cycle I find I need to dry them in the dryer for them to be soft and fluffy. If line dried they tend to be hard and scratchy. Our laundry is close to our living area but the general operating noise of the machine is not noticeable. It is loud during the spin cycle but on a wooden floor I don't think many machines would be quiet. Another great feature of the machine is the reminder to clean the drum and filter after 100 washes. The drum clean cycle makes cleaning the machine very easy. Overall I would highly recommend this machine. It has quite a few features that you would find on machines in the higher price bracket, is reliable and washes clothes well.
Great machine, very quiet and simple to use. My first front loader after my last top loader died after 15 years of daily use. Love the quick wash options as well as the steam one, this is good when you first buy something and want to wear asap. We use detergent sheets and the machine handles this extremely well, no residue left. Only thing I miss from my old top loader machine is a soak option but otherwise we’re loving it.
Absolutely love this machine! So quiet. Fits my queen size duvet without any trouble at all. So many functions and features. It even lets me know when the load is done! You can set up a wash programme to your own preferences, and it has an auto detergent/softener function which is fabulous! Stops my son putting them in all the wrong places - ha ha. Couldn't be happier with this machine! It looks fab too.
Such a versatile and intelligent machine with so many wash cycles, it actually makes washing clothes more enjoyable (OK maybe that's a stretch). Great results every time and the auto dose function means no more guessing how much liquid to use. It's also handy having an app for alerts, etc. a great internal light and the 11kg capacity. So many great features in one machine!
I have many F&P products but I'm deeply regretting this purchase. I bought this machine back in September and have had nothing but trouble ever since. The washing machine has already been changed over once where it was leaking water from the bottom right corner of the machine. Regardless of what cycle that was chosen, I would be mopping up water. I've had numerous tech visits to try and rectify the problem, to which they have been unable to. One tech told me that I have to water down the liquid detergent too which I found odd - why advertise a machine with auto dosing if it's unable to extract liquid from the dispenser??
