Would not buy again. It needs new batteries very often (maybe once every month or 2) and I only use the music option, never the light or breathing. I might turn on the music about twice per day. The sound options are barely even different volumes (cannot go loud enough to drown out noises while napping). Its also not good as a stuffy as the sound machine inside is super bulky and heavy. The fisher price snugga puppy (now discontinued) was a MUCH better option. I hope they bring it back! I was dissapointed in this toy :(

We love most of our mattel/fisher price products, so I hate to leave this review. I am a labor and delivery nurse, and I cannot recommend a product that may be placed in a babyās crib. The AAP is clear on their recommendation for safe sleep- a baby, a flat sleep surface, and a swaddling blanket only. If you intend to use this as a soother near the crib then it is so cute and Iāll leave my thoughts below, but I think most people would put this in the crib or bassinet.As a soother not a lovey, this is cute. Very cute, but not quite as snuggly and soft as i thought it would be.The electronic bit in the middle is very big and bulky, you can hear the parts moving inside, nearly as loud as the music. Also, like most night lights it takes a lot of battery power. the heavy duty batteries that came with it only lasted two weeks before i had to change them.The breathing sound is also a bit creepy, my daughter was scared of it at first, she thought it was real when it started moving and threw it across the room. she wouldn't go near it again until her big brother switched it to music mode. But very quickly took the battery operated hunk of plastic out since the back is a very easy velcro to take apart. (As opposed to snaps or a zipper). It was more of a game for him to open the velcro and take it out as opposed to sleeping with it as it was intended.As for the toy to sleep with, it is very soft but my husband did point out that it was creepy when it glowed red at night when it should be sweet and peaceful. The leaf I think shouldnt even be there in the belly. It's weird.
