I love all my other fiskar products, so don't let this dissuade you from the brand. My fiskar loppers, hand pruners, shears, etc. are all excellent quality for the price.Unfortunately I cannot endorse this fiskar saw. The saw blade is flimsy. Within the first 5 minutes of use, the blade BENT. My old rusty $8 handsaw is better than this one. Maybe I got a defective product. I will be exchanging this product for a new one.

Cuts well but unfortunately during my second log cut it bent. Now being bent it is too difficult to cut with. Will need to return.
The saw is a nice size to carry around and is light. It has a metal latch to hold it open. The blade will cover the hole in the handle when closed so it will cut through any lanyard you put in it.
Good tool, Saw is sharp, well balanced and easy to use.
Would say 4.5. Cuts great. It's sturdy. Folds/unfolds easily. The hole for a lanyard has saw teeth in it when folded, so a lanyard would get cut. The teeth are also partially exposed in the middle of the saw when folded and locked, but on the open side of the lock mechanism. Could snag something in a pack that way.
I was all into the Silky Saws until someone told these. A hack of lot cheaper the blade is better and you get three for price of a Silky. You can also buy replacement blades. Plus it really a Gerber who owns the company and they make the small cutters for Gerber multi tools.
A piece of garbage. A brand new one tortured a 1/2" thick branch for minutes before finally tearing it off. Useless.
have not used yet, but I think it is handy to have. i purchased std sixe saw for my project.
