I have a really nice watch that I don't want to stop using, but there is a surprising lack of clip-on pedometers available in today's market. My Fitbit One finally bit the dust (RIP). I hadn't used my Charge 2 in the past few years, because I didn't want to be double-wristing my watch-like devices. So I settled on this device because I figured I'd could flip it around and have it appear as a bracelet next to my watch, but also it can be converted to a clip on. I do really like it overall, but I was amazed to learn how little I can change about it. I don't care about the meditation or some of the other built-in features, but I can't remove them. (Which feels like a huge step back compared to their older devices). (Which feels like a huge step back compared to their older devices). With such a small little screen, it's really frustrating to have to keep them to swipe through in order to get to a feature I want. You're also locked in to a clock face, and basically can only choose one metric (steps, heart rate, etc.) to see at a glance at a time. The clock faces are kind of ugly and blockish, and then you have to scroll down to check some of the other metrics. And there's no changing it. I already have a watch - I don't care about the time. But I can't forego the clock for the metrics I actually care about. But overall I think it's the best option for me if I want a pedometer that looks like jewelry, and at a reasonable price. I have a big wrist and most bracelets are too small, so I was also worried whether the links would work for me. But the different link sizes provide a lot of flexibility in the size that it can be made to accomodate.

This gets one star, purely out of obligation to give it a rating.I wanted a simple Fitness tracker to replace my Fitbit Versa 2, and this had everything I wanted. I can track my steps, sleep, and workouts. It notifies me of phone alerts like text messages and calls (meaning I can put my phone down without worrying about missing important messages). Does it have all the bells and whistles of a smart watch? No, but that's why I picked it.Unfortunately, this device barely functions. The first one I purchased had a battery drain issue. In 5 minutes, it would go from 20% battery to completely dead. Fitbit gave me a warranty replacement for it, but they sent the wrong color. No matter how high the battery is when it charges, there's always a risk of it dying when I charge it. The screen goes black and it is completely unresponsive. I try resetting it with the charging cable, plugging it into different USB ports, and even using different cables. While it eventually comes back to life, how long it takes and what finally gets it back is completely random.I am currently awaiting my third replacement Luxe, but only because that was best option from Fitbit. They also offered me a discounted rate on the Charge 5 (which has more negative reviews for similar reasons) and the Versa 2 (which I traded in to get the Luxe- not to mention they're preordering the Versa 4, so at a minimum, I'd want the Versa 3). While I'm making do with what I have, I'm looking at leaving the Fitbit ecosystem entirely due to my experience with this product.

I tell you I was so disappointed in Fitbit will never purchase another one again because I saw reviews not on QVC only but reviews on Fitbit on other websites that have the same problem as I had! and this was a todayâs special value back in June! just buyer beware and it was too expensive shouldâve been a much better quality fitness watch for the price sorry QVC .Fitbit should be ashamed on the Fitbit luxe!

I own a versa 3 and I love it but I gradually started removing it at night because it's not very comfortable when sleeping. I did not expect this to be as nice as my versa 3 but I was excited to be able to use it at night to track my sleep. My mom has also been wanting one so I felt like a larger watch would not be comfortable for her so I ordered two.The positives of this watch, it looks good, it's sleek and comfortable so you don't really notice that you are wearing it. The small display makes it a little more challenging to set it properly, but I don't think it's a deal breaker for me. After playing with it a little I figured it out and it now works the way I want it to.So the negatives. After playing with it a little I figured it out and it now works the way I want it to.So the negatives. The deal breaker for me is the continual issue I'm having with the band. I did need to switch to the larger band, and it continues to fall off. I did not have this problem with my versa 3. I hear it click in place and when I tug on it it's sturdy but by the end of the day, a simple movement will make if fall off. I've worn it for about a week and it has always stayed on at night while I'm sleeping except last night it did fall off. The other issue is not being able to have the convenience of seeing everything on the screen. I did try about 3 different watch face choices until I found one that I really liked and would give me everything I need with a simple scroll. Yes, it's not ideal having the smaller screen but that's not the deal breaker for me.I do wish fitbit would make upgrades to allow you to seamlessly switch between watches. I would absolutely keep this watch if that were the case. This would be my watch when I want to dress up and it would also be what I wear to bed. Otherwise, I would wear my versa 3. I think I'm sending both watches back and going back to my versa. I know I don't want to keep mine mainly because of the issues I'm having with the band. I'm not sure it's worth letting my mom try it for that reason and also because it can be a little finicky. Since she's older she will not take the time to play with it to get it where it needs to be.I was very much aware that this was the second time this was on a tsv so that speaks volumes, but the price was worth giving it a try. Some people are complaining about the band not being white, well I don't think it was ever described as white and it certainly didn't look white on the screen. I do love the color of the band, it's a great neutral. At the end of the day when compared to my versa 3, the only advantage it has is it's considerably more comfortable to have on when sleeping. I don't know if my bad issue is a flaw with this watch. If that's the case, I do recommend this especially if you go into the purchase understanding that it can be a little annoying to setup but once you figure it out, it works quite well.
Let me start by saying I am a diehard Fitbit fan -- I think there is a lot more functionality and more of an end-to-end experience with Fitbit than Apple Watch. I was looking to replace my Inspire HR, and when I saw this Fitbit Luxe with this band, ON SALE, I had to have it. The phone app is great, as always, and I was excited to see the new features I could use with my Luxe. I didn't realize you couldn't have two trackers paired at once (the way that Apple can), so that sucked, as I was planning to keep my Inspire HR paired until I was sure I was sticking with the Luxe. After first setting it up and customizing the faces, I realized that the actual retail size of the face is a .5" rectangle, which makes a lot of the faces appear very small. The majority of the highly-advertised color screen is a large bezel. I love that Fitbits tend to be smaller on the wrist and appear more like jewelry, and thats why this band/device appealed to me. But I think the band is pretty poorly designed. The link removal is strange -- each link has a different sized clasp (short or long) and it makes for an awkward in-between fit for my small wrist. One large-clasp link is too small, two small-clasp links fit but are still a bit snug, and mixing and matching the links makes it way too large to be useful at reading my heart rate. I feel like the style of this band is meant to be worn slightly loose (like a charm bracelet), but the Fitbit is meant to remain more snug, so they're conflicting. The links also break the pattern of the aesthetic design of the bracelet by having two or three circles next to each other rather than oval-circle-oval. For me, because of my wrist sizing, the circles are off-center. When I flip my wrist over, I hate how the bracelet looks. It also seems like the band does not stay flush to the device. Even when hooked into the device, it always wiggles out to leave a small gap between the band and the device. I also loved the stainless mesh bands from my Inspire HR, and planned to buy one for my Luxe, but Fitbit has updated these bands for the Luxe model to have a new magnet clasp that I hear is annoying. The band/look of this Fitbit was one of the top reasons I bought this particular device over something like an Inspire. I like my trackers to look like jewelry and be more subtle, so I'm a little disappointed that it missed the mark. I'm continuing to test the new features of the Luxe to see if they're worth my purchase despite my disappointments, but if not I may return the device and buy the Inspire 3 or just return it and continue using my Inspire HR.

My wrists are really slim, thus, I cannot do with one of the bigger and heavy ones. Its slim profile and lightweight design make it comfortable to wear all day long, and the elegant black finish adds a touch of sophistication to any outfit. Additionally, the battery life is excellent, holding its charge for longer periods, also longer than the 3 days it says when you do not need to check everything all the time.Overall, the Fitbit Luxe in black is a fantastic fitness and wellness tracker that does exactly what it promises. It's accurate, comfortable, stylish, and delivers a long enough lasting battery life.I very much enjoy this slim Fitbit.
I've gone back and forth on whether or not I should keep this, but only because I got it on a TSV. But it came down to 'Is it a cute bracelet?'... because nothing else works. I don't care about steps, I really only wanted it for heart rate and sleep monitoring - and it does neither accurately. I have a pulse oxymeter that I started checking because the Fitbit consistently reads high - which I can tell when I use a very bright light and hold it two inches from my nose, otherwise you can't see ANYTHING - and the Fitbit is always off by at least 10-15 bpm.I've been wearing this dumb thing for nearly a month, and whether or not it actually tracks your sleep is a fun, daily mystery! Wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom for 34 seconds? Well, according to the Fitbit, that's when you woke up for the day. Adjust the settings, do everything you need to do... Finally check the 'community forum' to see if anyone else is having this problem. Oh yeah... Fitbit has known about it for 4+ years! Their solution? "Manually enter your sleep into the sleep log." Err... if I wanted to do that, there are eleventy billion free apps, but thanks?28 days later, I can say I gave it a fair shot. It's going back as defective today. But I don't think my particular Fitbit is defective, I think it's just a garbage product. Save your money.
Really disappointed. I had the Fitbit Alta for years but I wanted something that kept track of my spin classes. I was told thru FITBIT that the Luxe tracked spin. The presentation was lack luster as the Fitbit representative kept mentioning the Luxe was like jewelry. Jewelry jewelry. Ok we get it. But honestly itâs little difference in looks from my 10 year old Alta. I still donât understand why she kept thinking this look like expensive jewelry OK but anyways my main problem is it doesnât keep track of spin for goodness sakeâs thatâs what I wanted second of all I have to tap this watch so hard to get it to wake up thereâs no sensitivity adjustment after two weeks this thing is going back Iâm done with Fitbit Iâm just going to another brand their customer service is ... MoreReally disappointed. The booklet that comes with the watch is useless it doesnât go through step-by-step they really direct you to their website you go to the website and they want you to go to the community so another words theyâre passing the buck from their own representatives to Fitbit owners and Fitbit owners well theyâre not paid professionals and they donât really care what your problem is which I totally understand so the bottom line is donât waste your money on the locks maybe thereâs a higher brand or a higher model that works better but this locks oh and it keeps losing Bluetooth I have to keep reloading the app itâs just itâs just a pain in the neck donât buy it save yourself the grief I went through it for you
I use a Fitbit Versa 2 daily fir fitness training and love it. I bought the Luxe for my partner to motivate her to increase her activity. I bought the Luxe for my partner to motivate her to increase her activity. She is very petite at 85 lbs and found the band to be very uncomfortable. Then try to read it when you are moving. Also, I find that there isn't enough distance in the screen dimensions for quick swipes to be registered. The Luxe setup was a breeze, battery life is great and the Fitbit app is well designed and intuitive. If you are primarily interested in a tracker that collects data for display in the app and won't be interacting with the watch directly or value the aesthetics (Luxe is more attractive than the full size smart watches) then you will probably be happy with the Luxe. If your workout involves multiple activities which would need to be tracked separately then I don't see how you can avoid needing to frequently interact with the tracker.
I couldnât make up my mind whether I wanted to invest in a FitbitâBut the Luxe, at around $100 was a realistic price point considering what feedback you can get on your fitness stats. You can also opt in for the Premium additionâwhich I didâto try out for maybe one yearâdepending on how I like it.Here you can peruse a catalog of Recipe ideasâfitness/health tipsâExercise Videos by category and more!Since Iâm tracking my steps through the Noom app.âI was also able to sync that data to the Fitbitâwhich was a plus!Fitbit gives you calories burned after a workout, And you can tailor/input your choices of physical activities to Up to Five.I also bought this Fitbit for a summary analysis of my Sleep Hygiene. It was pretty eye openingâ(pun intended)âsince Iâm a Very Restless sleeper. The feedback you receive includes: How many min./hours of Time AwakeâLight SleepâDeep & REM. Itâs Not perfectâso, it doesnât make allowances for Interrupted Sleep or the Total including breaks in sleepâas it only records a minimum of three hours of Uninterrupted Sleep.Logging my meals was another reason I bought the Fitbit. You can input customized dishesâOr look up the calories. Logging is pretty straight forward. You input your Water Intake by How Many 16oz. bottles or 8 oz. glasses you drink per day for hydration. Simple.Fitbit also includes an Alarm Feature (which gently vibrates while wearing on your wrist at night).I didnât think I would wear it to bedâbut I tend to forget itâs even on.There is also a Stopwatch, and other stats that can be trackedâas standard on this Fitbit Luxe. One of the few Cons I would sayâmore of a nuisanceâis that (for me) the little black loop that secures the Fitbit band often comes loose, And sometimes falls off. They do provide you with a spare wrist band in the box (without loop).
