After owning the fitbit versa for sometime I decided to upgrade to the newer model. It is easy to set up when logged into the app ,navigating through the watch is smooth and plenty of apps to download for activities and monitoring walks. Battery life has improved and will last a full week if always on display is turned off. Using alongside a phone to calculate steps its accurate and compatible with maps to track walking distances and routes. The colour is bright and vibrant and the straps are durable. The screen face itself seems to be more hard wearing and hasn't accumulated any scratches compared to the previous version. Price is reasonable especially if you can find on sale . Overall a great watch for those on the go and wanting to track steps, sleep and heart ... MoreAfter owning the fitbit versa for sometime I decided to upgrade to the newer model. Up until a year ago I used to be part of the Fitbit community. For 6 years I used to own Fitbit products. The last one was the Venu 2. During my time with it, I managed to lose 20 kilogramms of weight, for which I am thankful for. The watch is a great hybrid between a fitness tracker and a smartwatch. The focus clearly lies on the fitness tracking. The smartwatch features are there but not the center of attention. You can manage messages and mails via the watch (when using Android you can even answer with the watch). This model has an Alexa integration, so voice commands are possible. But you cannot take phone calls through the watch. The biggest selling point is the battery life as it lasts up to 6 days. But with an usual usage you get closer to 4 days. Which is ... But you cannot take phone calls through the watch. The biggest selling point is the battery life as it lasts up to 6 days. But with an usual usage you get closer to 4 days. Which is still amazing compared to other watches. Sadly more and more features are either shut down (communities) or hidden behind the paywall of a subscription. This development and the fact thaty fitness goals have gotten to a new level where I wanted a bit more have led to my decision of abandoning Fitbit entirely. A friend of mine recently entered this community and there too were so many changes. The set up was a pain as you technically are able to disable certain settings, but then the process cannot be completed unless you enable all tracking and advertising settings. That was very frustrating. To make things short: with the current development of Fitbit I would not return to the plattform and not putchase another of their products. There are way to many good alternatives. However, I am still very thankful for my time with it as it helped me to get back in shape. This alone is the only reason for 3 stars, rather than 2. That and that the hardware (watch) itself is pretty good.... Show more

The display is just stunning and so pleasing to look at. So far, the battery life has been incredible. It came at around 56% when I first turned it on, and is at 51% now 24 hours later. The step tracking, heart rate monitor, and calories burned seems to be good so far, and are all very convenient features to be able to see so easily and quickly. I have not yet used the sleep tracking function yet. I really like being able to see texts, calls, and the time without needing to carry my phone with me everywhere I go, especially at work when I'm frequently moving around but need to watch the time closely. Pairing the Fitbit with my phone was seamless and fast. Also, the watch just looks so pretty and compliments any outfit well. Even just wearing the watch has motivated ... I'm not sure if I will try to go swimming with this watch any time soon, just in case. Overall, I am beyond satisfied with this purchase. I will try to provide an update in the future to see if the watch continues to hold up and be as good as it seems now.... Show more

This is my first smartwatch and my second Fitbit, my first one was a Flex, and this is definitely a welcomed upgrade from that. Since I knew I was going to need a watch for my new job, but also wanted a newer Fitbit to keep myself accountable for being active, catching the Versa 2 on sale was at the same time was a sign. I've knocked it against things so many times on accident and it's held up wonderfully so far. I don't have any other smartwatch experience to compare it against, but if you're just starting out with smartwatches and looking for something that is simple and easy to use, this is definitely a step in the right direction.... We bought a Fitbit Versa 2 in Oct 2022. The versa 2 was decent and easy to use. However, just over a bit more than one year, the Versa 2 keeps rebooting itself. We didn't drop it or damage it in any way. Searched the community forum and apparently a lot of Versa 2 users have the same problem and cannot be factory reset. We tried all the methods in the forum and it didn't work. So we called the Customer Service three times, and they tried to ask us to do factory reset again (even though I clearly told them we tried it and didn't work). Then they asked us to install the latest iOS and the FitBit app versions, which took me another hour or so. Then when I phoned back again, they said they would then send me an email for further instructions. And guess what, it was an ... MoreWe bought a Fitbit Versa 2 in Oct 2022. Then when I phoned back again, they said they would then send me an email for further instructions. And guess what, it was an email saying that the watch is out of warranty period and cannot be eligible for a replacement. That was a big disappointment, because the problem is solely software/firmware and that should be able to get fixed, instead of me throwing a perfect workable piece of hardware to the garbage. This is not acceptable at all. We will not be buying Fitbit anymore, it's just the way they deal with the quality of the product is appalling.... Show more
