To be honest, it says it’s a slip dress so you're suppose to wear it underneath a dress but I actually wear is out by it’s self. I bought the „Fits Everybody“ long dress with sleeves and love the fabric. In this slip dress version it is a total disappointment. The fabric is only one layer instead of two which makes the dress very thin and see-through. It looks more like underwear than a dress and I can only wear it with a body and opaque tights underneath and a blazer or jacket on top. Definitely not worth the price, but a good fit nevertheless.

I purchased a formal dress for my daughter that turned out to be more see through than anticipated (not suitable for prom anyway) and we were contemplating taking the dress to a tailor for a lining when we came across this slip dress! It could not be more perfect for the job. It makes you feel secure yet still comfortable and addressed the modesty issues without ruining the effect of the original dress. It’s great quality and we would highly recommend to anyone considering this item.

This dress is just everything! The material is so amazing so comfortable! I’m gonna buy another and the longer ones! I normally have to size up in all things skim’s because everything runs small but I’m typically a medium and I was able to fit in a medium I’m 5’4” and 145lbs. I could fit in a large or medium because it’s a dress so really if you wanna be sure just size up. This particular collection I have to size up to a large in everything else like the tops and bottoms. Just fyi
It’s so soft!! It’s so pretty!! I got mine in Sienna 🤎My fiancé loved it as well. I haven’t got to wear it yet. But I’ve tried it on and took some pictures and I’m so happy with it. It’s so worth the money if you’re interested in getting it. But you will need the nude bra and panties from skims to match. You can’t even see them once you put the on. (As it is sheer) I got a large. I am 5’5 DD (the dress came to the back of my thigh) great fit!
Only 5 stars because this is more like a breathable pajama! I love sleeping with this so called slip on. It’s definitely breathable and molds to my body well. I’m a curvy mom. I don’t understand why it’s being sold marketed as a slip…. Not enough support for that and a little on the heavier side
I bought this in both black and clay. The clay version is definitely see-through, and the black is not super thick. Neither dress is that tight. I thought these slip dresses would hold me in, and then I could wear a different dress over them. They are not really shapewear, but maybe I misunderstood their purpose.
I got this for under a dress for a wedding. I’m 5’10 155lbs. My dress I put over the slip is super slinky, so I know that didn’t affect things.The entire time I had to constantly yank the slip down, it would not stop riding up. I ordered the medium based on the size chart. I specifically bought Skims because I thought the quality would be higher and I could trust it, but I’m really disappointed with my purchase. Especially because it’s expensive for a slip. I won’t be wearing this piece again since it does not do it’s job.
I bought the black one, and it is very see through (completely see through), you will need pasties for sure, and even then it's still see through. Maybe size up to help with that, but then you would be losing the shape/way it keeps everything in. It is very flattering on, but if you plan on wearing it out you definitely would need pasties, and not just the nipple but you can see the entire outline of each boob. Everything about it otherwise is perfect and it is very comfortable.
This slip dress is a true staple slip - it is thin but soft and smooth. It helps to smooth the body lightly but is definitely not "shape wear" and isn't compression or thick. I have a small waist but wide hips and usually wear size 6 and the small fits perfectly. This is a great basic to layer under dresses, pants or skirts but I personally wouldn't wear it on its own. Really happy with it as I bought it to layer and will likely buy more! But wouldn't recommend for someone who is looking to wear as a dress on its own (like the soft lounge dresses which I haven't tried but seem a bit thicker and more realistic for solo use)
