I've read this book many times before but it never fails to enchant me. What struck me most on this reading was Edith Nesbit's playfulness. A wonderful old classic and a must-read.

All books from this collection are gorgeous! Kind of pocket size with beautiful hardcover, golden decorative edges and meaningful afterwords with why this book is relevant and what some context of authors life. This one, 'Five Children an it' is a kids books that has a good sense of humour and interesting adventure. It puts you back in time, twice if you are an adult, in the view of early 1900's kids playing around. I would recommend this book for anyone that enjoys reading.
Great read for our older children
