Great Gloves, Comfortable yet tight in the right places. I deducted one star because on the product photos, the 1st 2 fingers on the palm side of the gloves were supposed to be red, However on the product delivered they were white. Not a deal breaker, but it was one of the eye catching details for me during the purchase stage. Wont send them back because otherwise they are awesome. Sizing is perfect for a size 9 hand.

Great quality glove yet to wear in the saddle but comfortable. Fits tight so remember to go one size up from your usual.

These are great! A bit tight at first however I have confidence they will stretch out over usage.

I bought these revently as an upgrade to the amazing Five RFX3 but as soon as I wore the RFX1 the fit is incredibly tighter, I always buy gloves in XL size but these are by far the tightest fitting XL gloves i've ever worn! I understand that they are racing gloves and obviously the leather needs some breaking in but this is something to keep in mind if you want these, after a 6 hour ride, some of my fingers felt really numb but overall, there is no replacement for Five, the fit, protection and looks are unbeatable! The gauntlet fits perfectly around my Alpinestars GP plus R V3 leather jacket!
The glove is near perfect, however the gauntlet is too small for me to wear any of my leather jackets with. My textile jackets barely fits. If the strap was just a bit bigger or the gauntlet was just a tad wider, this would be the perfect glove. Make sure you try this glove with your leather jacket before purchasing.
Bought at the end of summer last year. Second pair of 5 gloves. Protection similar to what’s offered on high end gloves for half the price. Like any other leather piece of clothing you have to keep then clean and dry after a ride, or don’t start complaining about the quality of the stitches etc.
These gloves fit me perfectly, so I like them. My Held Phantoms were always a bit large at a size 8.5, but the RFX1 fit my hands exactly requiring a little bit of stretch at 9, size medium. The leather is thick supple and seems of a high quality. Yesterday. I sweat in them for the first time, and the fingers on my left hand still have some red dye on them, but I doubt that will be a continuing problem. They have protection in all the right places and they have good mobility at the wrist. I guess what matters most is how long they last without a crash.
They felt a little too small at first but after I broke them in (maybe 5-6 hours of riding) they formed to my hands perfectly. Sizing was accurate for me. The knuckle protectors have vents which work well on those warm days. I really like the carbon protective shells for the palm and wrist. Excellent dexterity with the controls now that I have a snug fitting glove. They are a little finicky to get over the sleeve of your jacket but they do slide over my Alpinestars Missile V2 cuffs relatively easily. Your hands are as safe as they will ever be riding on the street/track if you are wearing these gloves as far as I'm concerned. They look great as well. 5/5 for me.
Fit - have to buy a size up. They can loosen up a bit with use but still a size up is the right fit.Comfort - better than Dainese Full Metal (and those are with a great comfort and fit!)Protection - not titanium but still every part of the hand has protection and double protection.Quality - high end productMaterials - had mine for four years - no problem so far. The new ones should be even better.
I've had them for the last couple months and after breaking in their super comfortable and feel sturdy and reliable. A lot better than the previous A* gear I had that broke after 6 months of use. Also great protection all around on this glove although I have yet to crash in them. Will update it anything happens.
