When I was a child, my Father had something like this in the Boot of our Car. We as kids laughed at it constantly questioning why it’s there! Then, one day, we truthfully had the need for it when we came across 2 families that had broken down & were stranded, desperately needing water. He pulled it out of the boot and brought relief to all, they now had water…So, this is a product that may never get used but it’s something that every person should have in their cars, everyone. (Additionally, a small length of steel about 30cm long that can be slid withing to help give you leverage in both opening and closing & a little can of WD40)

The majority of my work is strata/apartment buildings, and most of them have altered there taps to be this adaptor. A one-off cost that all contractors should consider.

For years I was confused about the tap with no handle near the front steps of the units I live in. No one I asked could tell me what it was.One day, when a visiting plumber was here fixing something else, I asked him. "Oh," he said, "it's to stop just anybody using the tap and maybe leaving it running. You need an Anti Vandal Tap. You can buy them at Bunnings. They don't cost much."So I did. Works like a charm. No more carrying buckets of water to the front garden.
Ideal for all those campsites where they have removed the top of the tap, this product allows you to get the water you need
When trying to turn one part is turning around inside other pipe. What a junk!
Well made and solid in construction. I have numerous individuals, including council workers who think they can walk onto my property and help themselves to my water. Installed the vandal proof tap top head and use the handle key to turn on and off the water. Works fine and I expect no problems.
Works well in most cases. If people have attempted to turn on the tap using pliers, it may have damaged the spindle such that the tap key slips and cannot turn it on.

It suits the purpose for which it was made. It is of great quality. Haven't needed to use it yet and don't know when that would be. What else is there to say...
