The upper part of the shoe is made from a durable polyurethane-laminated material over a comfortable mesh, providing long-lasting support. The fit is easily adjusted with a single bi-directional Li2 BOA dial. The R2 outsole is made from engineered carbon fibre, reducing weight and increasing stiffness, with a stiffness index of 10. This makes it the most responsive outsole in the Fizik range. The shoe also features a wide vent inlet and deep internal channels for cooling airflow, helping to regulate temperature. The cleat position is slightly further back to improve pedalling efficiency and reduce knee strain, ideal for aggressive aero positions. These shoes are designed for riders with wider feet, offering a higher volume fit with more space at the forefoot.
