Good looking shoe. Id say in day light looks more pink/purple but in darker days looks darker too.Closure system feels nice, pressure feels even over my foot.Footbed is quite hard though, I may need to get a softer one but that personal. Other May like the supplied ones.Quality lacks ever so slightly, having only worn them three times there is fraying of stiching around the BOA closure on the right shoe which is annoying.Overall, Id recommend them.

You get what you pay for. Yeah I get the law of diminishing returns relates to cycling almost more than any other sport but when it comes to shoes quality counts. £210 is a lot but these fiziks were heavily discounted and worth every penny. The copper and black ones look ridiculously cool and the extra wide fit ensures day long comfort with no hot spots. Nice one.

Comfortable shoes for long rides. Good looking and stiff enough. My feet have high arches, narrow heels and a very wide forefoot with almost non-tapering toes. A perfect fitting cycling shoe seems impossible to find, but these are close. The toe box feels roomier and more flexible compared to similar sized lake cx237 wide and shimano rp9 wide. Good heel retention, but would be nice with a second boa or a strap at the front. I would size down half a size from shimano/giro. Overall a great shoe. Competitive price and fast shipping from Sigmasports too!

Happy Wide Feet!
25 May 2021

I am a woman with men's wide feet. I figured I'd never find a road cycling shoe that fit my wide feet. I lucked on a pair of MTN biking shoes on clearance in a store when I started casually riding several years ago. Recently decided to train for a 100-mile ride and my husband suggested I get road shoes. So the search began. I googled and came across BikeShoes.com (AMAZING service and quick shipping) and this Fizik Tempo R4 Overcurve Wide Shoes. They fit amazingly well! The size chart on the site was right on. My toes are happy and have room to wiggle with no pressure on my feet. The ratchet system allows them to fit like a glove and I worried about the "one cinch" kind of fit. I have a high instep and wide ball of my foot so fit is often tricky even in just everyday ... MoreI am a woman with men's wide feet. Right Fit and Performance Overcurve Wide
18 September 2023

I normally wear men size 9 but can also wear 8.5 wide. My foot measures 10.125 inch by 4.125 so I am leaning on wide side. I got the 42 wide and and it was spot on length wise and width was snug but acceptable. Over a few rides I think the shoe will soften up and fit better in the width direction. Rode 50 miles in the shoe today. I notice a bump up in performance over my Shimano RC7 (2017). Some of that I think is because the RC7 is a half size bigger than I need (43.5) driven more by the width so its less snug on the foot. Also the Overcurve lets me move the cleat a little further back. The single Boa works better than what I expected. It is very smooth and pulls the shoe together with even pressure from top to bottom.

Roomy!
29 April 2021

There aren't many options out there for those of us with boxy feet but i'm happy to have found these. For comparison sake, I also own a pair of Fiziks' own Terra X5 SPD shoes in a 42. These are comfortable, but on the limits of what my feet will fit into. My little toes always feel squashed in somehow. With these though, there's plenty of wiggle room! (Maybe even too much?) So, I would say they could benefit from a second dial or strap nearer to the front to get a snugger fit. In my case I tested 2 sizes and came away happier with the smaller 41.5 size, the extra width no doubt allowing this. The shoes themselves aren't any wider than normal around the heel area, but I like how they've used a softer fabric on the inside heel to prevent them from rubbing your ... MoreThere aren't many options out there for those of us with boxy feet but i'm happy to have found these. For comparison sake, I also own a pair of Fiziks' own Terra X5 SPD shoes in a 42. It's not usually a problem for me but it's a nice touch. One final note is on the cleat hole positions, they are quite far back which may be a problem for some but as with all shoes it a personal thing. So overall they're just short of perfect, but with the limited choice available, you will be mostly happy, as I am. I've also added a pic for comparison. The left shoe is the Fizik X5 and the right shoe is the Overcurve R4 Wide as reviewed here.

Should be the standard Fizik last!
22 June 2021

Bought to replace Torch 3.0 that were a touch too narrow. I've got fairly normal sized feet but with a slightly prominent 5th MTPJ, low height forefoot, slim heel/ankle (like many people). Other "wide" shoes are much too large overall volume in the forefoot. The Fizik's are a superb last shape in the forefoot with plenty of space / width where needed, but nice tight fit around the heel. Put it next to your foot; it actually looks the same shape; unlike 90% of other cycling shoes! 45 Length identical to the 45 Specialized; accurately sized for a 45 IMO. Nicely made, no complaints.Cleat position slightly rearward compared to the (overly narrow) R1s I owned previously; which is perfect (bike fitter absolutely despised prior Fizik shoes for that very reason). ... MoreBought to replace Torch 3.0 that were a touch too narrow. Classique black a nice, more practical alternative to White. Single Boa works surprisingly well, but two would be ideal to enable the heel to be tightened right down independently of the rest of the foot. Sole not obviously any less stiff than the "carbon composite" in the Torch 3.0s, but definitely less than the R1's. Of no relevance to me though. These but with 2 Boas & a carbon composite sole (relevant for marketing purposes only really) and Fizik would absolutely clean up at this price-point.

Take a little getting used to
13 August 2024

These shoes look and feel very high quality. I have quite flat feet and found the added curve caused my feet to ache a little on the first couple of long rides. However, this soon righted itself. Very happy with this purchase. A great pair of shoes.

The most comfortable shoes I had so far
4 August 2021

This is the most comfortable shoes I have ever had so far. I have wide feet and were using regular size shoes before. It was always really tied and not comfortable, some times causing my feet to sleep. Then I decided to test this wide shoes, and it is a completely game change for me. Finally I have a comfortable shoes that allows my feet to breath and helps me to transfer power without sufferings.Best shoes I tested so far.If you have wide feet, go with it. If you have regular feet, they have a regular size version for this as well. No brain.I usually wear 10 US size for regular/ running shoes. I decided to go with a slight smaller size for this one and got the 9.75 US (43), and it was perfect.

great stiff shoe

really roomy shoe, the wide fit certainly is a noticeable toe box increase.great quality shoe, with a very stiff sole. One thing I seem to be noticing is that it a very "flat" shoe. noticing a bit of discomfort/pressure on the outside of my foot which indicates may need some arch support inner soles.
