Great for winter (only), not a lot of ventilation or breathability, but for the colder months, hard to beat. They are great at weather resistance though, especially if you use the Fjallraven wax. Plenty of pockets too.

I bought these almost a month ago. I've worn these several times on short hikes and around the home while processing wood. The utility is next to none. The fit is so comfortable and the pockets are all usable. I love the hip slot for a small folding saw. The pants are breathable considering I live in a Hot Texas climate. The buttons and material are very high quality. I will be wearing these for years to come.
The material is exceptionally breathable but not very elastic. Check the size conversion table. These are true to size in the waist but slimmer in the thighs so sizing up buys you better movement. Just wear a belt, it's recommended anyway.
Had an eye on a second pair these for several years the price was keeping me from pulling the trigger. My last pair has worn and fitted great so when MJ had them on sale at 30% off I bit. I purchased the same size I was still wearing and fitted me perfect. They came and I couldn’t even button them. I contacted Fjallraven and they said their sizing had changed from 2019 when got my last pair. Exchange them for one size up and they fit fine.
The pants seem well made overall, but since they are not a stretchy material, and i haveabove average athletic sized quads/thighs, when i go to do a high step in these pants it feels as if im going to rip the pants. It makes me sad because they fit in the waist and feel great when im just standing up straight. But if i have to go up stairs or do anything where i need to raise my leg more than a walk, the pants become way to tight around my thighs.
Would have loved to put these to the test as spring summer alternative to my trustaly Vida pro trousers, but they're oddly transparent. The fabric in this color and weight leaves underwear clearly visible. The look is too much of a detractor and likely amplified with any perspiration. Returned.
Love these pant, my new go to in the colder months along the southeastern Atlantic coastline! Moosejaw has the most unusual and quirky employees in the outdoor gear industry! Don’t know where they find these goofy odd ball clowns! 🤡
Really happy with these pants. They’re definitely rugged and functional. Add some layers of wax and you have an all purpose pant that is going to last years and years. Definitely going to look at more of this brand.
