I absolutely love this leash! The color matches her harness perfectly and the 16ft length is just right for her. I really love the added feature of having a slit to hold a separate box for treats or waste bags. The leash is so smooth and never gets caught when retracting, and feels super strong even when she pulls on it as hard as she can. I believe the leash is also reflective which is amazing for walks at night. Definitely a must have for any crazy puppy like my Frenchie Sage!... Show more

Cheap Leash That Breaks Down Soon After Purchase!
This leash retracts, locks, and unlocks flawlessly. The huge problem however is the most important part of the leash - the extension ribbon or tape - is very cheap, and it is the most important part. The tape soon begins to unravel, rip and tear when using it as designed to walk a 95 pound puppy. I truly hate wasting money on cheaply made products that don't last, so I don't recommend this leash. We should never get used to or expect products not to last. We should expect better quality for our money and not purchase or recommend products that are designed to break down soon after purchase. The maker of the product should be shamed into making a durable good quality product or stop selling it!... Show more

I found the prices to be lower for this dog leash all tape.I believe they handle is good for most size hands and comfortable.it has a backwards break switch so there's no accidentally unbreaking it. I'm left handed so I'm not sure if that's a true statement right there. but it does backwards to me.Lexi is the best I've usethis is 16 ft.the little flexi you see which is black and a little bit less than money has a cord in it it's got a leash tape but it also has cord so I like 100% tape go for the big one... From stressful walks to relaxed walks
My dogs are pullers. Seven years in and the spaniel/beagle nose still controls their desire to explore every nook of the park. Walking them wasn't really fun because I'd end up with a sore arm and hands. I tried this lead after my daughter switched to it for her spaniel. Amazing. Allowing my dogs to wander that 5m away from me to sniff some irresistible smell, then catch up when they saw me moving too far ahead for comfort has been a game changer. I think I actually saw them smile at me when we first tried it out. Now I'm taking one dog at a time for a walk on alternate days through the week. A win-win. More exercise for all three of us!... i use this for my 30 lb dog for nature type hikes/trails and beaches. i would NOT recommend for city or street environments 26 ft is way too much freedom and could be dangerous. but for forest walks with my dog it’s the perfect size. she can get a little run in with the leash length. i would also NOT recommend if your dog doesn’t follow voice commands, know a heel, pull, or if you would need to rely on the button. i’m not worried about passing another dog, my dog comes to me when called, and does a heel on command. if she didn’t i wouldn’t get a retractable leash this long. maybe 15 ft, and again in rural environments only.... Two of our corded leashes are 20 years old and still get used multiple times a day. They are starting to fray, so we decided to replace them, but it is obvious that the new Flexi leashes simply do not compare to the old ones.I contacted Flexi with our concerns and got a rather short response implying that the problem was our fault, as we didn't "soak the first 2 feet with Tabasco or any other anti-bite product from time to time until your dog is older and/or isn't interested in playing with the leash any more." Following their guidance (which isn't in the product instructions) would have made no difference. Our dog is not a puppy and does not chew or play with leashes; the leash simply crossed into his mouth as he was spinning and in one bite the leash was almost severed. In the past, we had dogs that did play with the end of the leash, but it didn't affect the old leashes, which have heavy double tape at the end.Flexi has adopted an interesting sales strategy: Reduce the quality of the product, then blame the customer when there is a problem. First thing I noticed was the Beautiful Blue color. It’s not the Aqua like it looks like in the picture. I have a Miniature Poodle Service Dog Finn who I train constantly. We walk two miles a day training and we’ve been through a few retractable leashes so far in two years. Needless, to say I’ve tried at least five different kinds. Between, them being the rope kind that hurt, heavy, cheap hard plastic, not long enough, hard to grip, won’t retract, hard to use the brake down to the bigger than appear in the picture ones I’ve used a lot. Strong Leash
I purchased the medium size turquoise & black Flexi leash. I wanted blue and I wanted a strong leash as my 19 pound dog pulls. Its beautiful to look at but heavy to hold. Its big enough for a man with larger hands but if you r a woman & like a heavier handle then you will like this one. . Someone wrote they felt the medium would be stronger so it finalized my decision. However though the ribbon inside is slightly wider both r the the same great quality & I think for me the small would have been the better option for my size dog. ( Im an older woman). Its a very strong leash with a adjustable handle. Im enclosing a picture of my old small compact leash so you can see the size difference. ( they dont make the old one any more but I imagine their retractable leash for the smaller dog is not as big or heavy). Hope this helps.
