I used this as an additive to oil based undercoat as recommended but you need to let it dry for weeks before over coating. Otherwise paint will blister. It’s a nightmare. Months is better than weeks actually because it keeps releasing box’s if it is in the sun.

I rustproofed the underside of my 4x4 with penetrol. I didn't put anything over it, there was no need because it was out of the sun. It drys clear and hard and is odour free.I had the car for 10 years and drove on the beach too, there was no rust.Get the penetrol aluminium if you want uv protection.Normal penetrol isn't UV and needs to be coated with wattle kill rust if it's exposed to the sun.This advice came from the manufacturer (Flood).
