Thought a long time about this purchase and am pretty happy with it. Worried that we won't be able to change the bulb easily, a concern of the electrician who fitted it too. Fitting which holds the shade to the bulb and wire seems really fragile. Could have used better information about what bulb to buy- took a lot of searching to find info. The light is very bright! Shade isn't sitting totally level but hoping that it straightens itself out in time

I bought this shade in the sale whilst building a house. The light included 2 boxes which came taped together. When I came to fit the light and opened the boxes, the light fitting and shade were miss-matched. Due to Covid and lockdown, I wasn't able to get to the store within the return timeframe. I now have the shade from this light and the fitting from another £££ FLOS light. Two different light fixtures, but not one complete lamp.I would therefore advise you to check the contents of the sealed boxes immediately! It has proven a very costly mistake.

The luminaire is of very high quality, which is already noticeable by the weight. Fits into any room and always looks great.In my case, the lamp does not hang exactly straight either, which is due to the fact that the wire suspension on the glass housing is pushed to the side by the power cable. It's not very noticeable, but I haven't found a way to change it yet.The included bulb is too bright for my taste, but can be easily replaced.A total of 5 stars in any case.

This gives a beautiful glow to a room, and is like a smooth white 'moon'. We took a bit of a risk, as the Leeds store was unable to demonstrate the light with the correct bulb - luckily we found out from one of the staff that they had fitted a much dimmer bulb, as otherwise we would have walked on by, as it looked so dim. However, it is stunning, and does what we need. I recommend using with a dimmer switch, as it is very bright!
The lamp is very nice and high quality workmanship (although the assembly is not quite without ...), but expensive, special bulbs must be used, because the opening is too small for conventional bulbs (it is the non-removable plastic holder - that could certainly have been designed differently). The brand Flos offers the bulbs for a measly 50 EUR, which I find a cheek.
We love the FLOS Glo-ball pendant. It looks great, gives off the right amount of light, and really gives our kitchen a clean modern look. Definitely recommend this pendant. The larger one in a high ceiling area (entry way or living room) is even more of a statement.
I love this lamp because of the way it lights the room - such great light! Seemingly brighter than daylight. It also dims to look almost like a moon if you want it darker. (which is very beautiful) I must admit I first got this light because it was recommended in a 'style' magazine as something that might make me 'happy' - but in this case, it really does! A word of caution: not easy to install, you will need to hire an electrician. Once you get through that expense: enjoy!
High quality, shapely pendant lamp, which emits a beautiful light. Contrary to my pre-buyer, it hangs with us without problems straight and also 150 watts are needed every now and then if you want to see something. A dimmer is therefore always an advantage and available with us.Clear buy recommendation for the Flos Glo-Ball :-)
I bought this light as a simple, modern twist on the standard mid century globe. I was planning on the large pendant for the living and 2 small glo-ball flushmounts for the hallway. Ultimately, for the scale of the large ball and my ceiling height, I realized it would work best as a flushmount. If I had higher ceilings I would have kept it. Instead, I worked with Lumens to exchange it for a large glo-ball flushmount. Love the looks of it, though.

They just really nailed the design on this and no copies or knock offs seem to look the same. I bit the bullet and bought the Glo ball large halogen. What you get is nothing special just a simple glass diffuser and a cord with a plain bulb adapter. I was expecting something extra special for the price and was a little underwhelmed when I unpacked it. I even had to mess with the connector and bend the pin that makes the connection to bulb to get mine to work as it wasn't working when I first hooked it up. Enough trashing on it I actually love it and every time I look at it and enjoy it's light I'm happy I bought it. It puts off a wonderful light (I have mine hooked to a dimmer integrated into the light switch) at full bright to very dim. Easy on the eyes even fully bright. I give it 6 stars for it's design and beauty I rate it average for quality of material and construction. One other thing to consider mine over the period of about 6 weeks has a nice little collection of bugs in the bottom of it that you can see easily when the light is on. Not that big of a deal but you do have to remove it from the cord to empty them out. Might be a consideration if it was hanging in a not so easy to reach location.
