I just bought the Sephora Luxe Collection (which is amazing!!) and I was so excited to get a small bottle of Viktor Rolf Flowerbomb. It's described as being "an explosive bouquet of fresh and sweet notes", which describes this perfume pretty perfectly. The first thing I smelled with this perfume was the patchouli and the musk. I'm a sucker for perfumes with patchouli in them. I also smelled the freesia which gives it a light, floral scent. This perfume smells absolutely beautiful! When I wear this perfume I feel very beautiful and sophisticated. It was introduced in 2005 as an Oriental perfume. The top notes tingle with fresh and sweet accords of bergamot and green tea. This perfume is definitely something that I recommend trying for yourself and absolutely something I'm considering buying a full-sized bottle of once I run out!

I was so excited to try this because there hasn’t been a Flowerbomb fragrance I haven’t loved. Honestly, I was disappointed; I think I just expected too much. However, I still love this. It reminds me of a caramelized peach, in a bourbon caramel sauce, with homemade vanilla whipped cream. That sounds really sweet, and for a lot of people it might be, but compared to Nectar, it almost has a slight bitterness. I didn’t notice it until I wore Nectar and compared, so it doesn’t stand out. The longevity isn’t as good as the original or Nectar, but I would say it’s still better than a lot of EDPs out there. The projection and silage is the same….pretty good, but the original and Nectar have better. Overall, I think this will be a more universally well-liked fragrance ... MoreI was so excited to try this because there hasn’t been a Flowerbomb fragrance I haven’t loved. Flowerbomb is too floral for some, while Nectar is too unique or sweet for some. This has a great balance of fruity, sweetness, and floral without patchouli (which is what I hear a lot of people abhor in Flowerbomb). It’s very warm and cozy without being overly gourmand. Nectar is still one of my top 3 favors, but this is a beautiful fragrance that I’ll at least keep a travel spray in my collection (VR fragrances are expensive!!)

This beauty packs a punch! When I sprayed it for the first time on my cool/dry skin without looking at the notes I got light and dark pink florals, patchouli, vanilla, and caramel. It’s strength is reminiscent of the perfumes from the 90’s. I think this fragrance is very deserving of its cult following. I spray twice on my navel area and then dab my wrists in that. This is a beautiful fragrance, sure to cut through the cold air of fall and winter. It’s a little heavy for me personally for the warmer months, but I always say, wear what you want.. when you want! Top Notes: Tea, bergamot, and osmanthus. Middle Notes: Orchid, jasmine, rose, freesia, and American orange flower. Base Notes: Patchouli, musk, vanilla.

Flowerbomb is a beautiful eau de parfum by ViktorRolf. At first I was a bit unimpressed by the name and packaging - yet another floral perfume? I was wondering if this would be memorable, or smell like something generic wafting out of the off-brand fragrance aisle at the drug store. Boy was I wrong! First and foremost, I really appreciate that this comes in a “splash” bottle, which really allows you to appreciate the product in the way in which it was supposed to be presented - in a gorgeous bottle! The bottle is designed to look like a “diamond grenade.” It is a very geometrical and powerful shape that packs a punch when you open the cap. The bottle is designed to look like a “diamond grenade.” It is a very geometrical and powerful shape that packs a punch when you open the cap. Some perfumes take a while to register with your chemistry before you can fully appreciate the smell. Not this perfume. This smelled great on my skin immediately after applying a small dab to the inside of my wrist. The floral notes are lovely of course, but there is also this underlying softness that is so alluring and breathtaking to smell - most likely from the patchouli and vanilla notes. It almost smells like a rosy, fresh, powdery envelopment of feminine love that is both calmly familiar and vividly effervescent. This is definitely an addictive fragrance. The best part is that the smell dissipates into the softest essence. I would feel comfortable wearing this in close quarters, as the scent is soft enough not to agitate other people in the vicinity. Some people dock points for this, but I love wearing a scent that comes off more as a soft trail, instead of occupying the entire room. They use the olfactory notes of Centifolia rose, jasmine, orchid, and osmanthus. There is nothing obnoxious or intrusive about the way this smells, and though titled “Flowerbomb,” this is not an overpowering or explosively strong fragrance. It is, however, filled with the intense aroma of a freshly cut and misted floral rose bouquet that is sensually addictive at the very least. A must-have!
I'm writing a longer detailed review because most reviews on here were very misleading and didn't tell me enough about this before I bought it blind based on what I read. Please buy a sample mini before making the big leap of buying a big bottle. On first spray I got a spiced, musky, toffee coffee scent that shocked the senses. It radiated about four to five feet on first spray as my bf smelled it two rooms over about 40 seconds after I sprayed it. One or two squirts is enough trust me! It's stronger than I expected because noone said exactly how strong it was. If your sensitive to deeper scents this might give you a headache. Longevity was good. Lasted 10 hours on me before I had to wash it off to stop smelling it on my wrist. Covering it up with something else did ... MoreI'm writing a longer detailed review because most reviews on here were very misleading and didn't tell me enough about this before I bought it blind based on what I read. Lasted 10 hours on me before I had to wash it off to stop smelling it on my wrist. Covering it up with something else did not work although if you wanted to mix it with something lighter and sweeter I could see that working great. It's more of an evening perfume that you'd wear on a night out with friends or to a wedding reception. It's definitely NOT an office perfume because those standing or sitting close by will absolutely smell it. I do not get anything floral in this. I couldn't imagine what flower anyone would say this smells like. It's smokey in a way on the dry down with a strong vanilla that has the toffee coffee as the co-star. It's something you'd wear more in the colder months as it's a warmer scent that's very deep. If your looking for attention with a new outfit or dress this is a good choice but it's not an everyday lounging, hanging out in a movie kind of perfume. I personally wouldn't wear it in closed quarters with others close by due to it's strength. I think it's more musky than anything else and does have a deeper sweetness like burnt sugar, or a type of baked good candle or wax melt you'd buy for your home during the holidays. I like anything that smells good and I expected to love this since I love the flowerbomb bloom version of this. Very different perfumes though. Original flowerbomb is a more mature scent for a middle aged woman than a younger teenage early 20s girl. If I close my eyes I'd picture a highschool teacher in her 40s who only wears dresses or business attire. It would be nice on a scarf in the winter. If you like more "floral" scents I wouldn't think this is it. I don't get floral at all like others had said I think that's misleading. This is a coin toss in my opinion. Your either going to love it, or your going to think it's putrid. A lighter sweeter more powdery version to try is the flowerbomb bloom. Don't just dismiss flowerbomb completely if you do not like the original. I personally do not think it should be as expensive. Hope this helps!
I'm not entirely sure which note exactly is catching everyone's attention, but I can definitely say this perfume is one of my most complimented scent. Especially by men. It has notes of floral, patchouli, woody, citrus, powdery, sweet with a bit of spice and musk that drives men crazy. It lasts long depending on your skin type, but a way to increase its longevity is to mix it into a neutral/non-scented lotion after showering and to rub it over arms, legs and neck. I can guarantee that it'll last well into your day and even into the night. This perfume (using the method mentioned above) gives anyone a strong whiff of the notes, then it sneaks away for a bit, then comes back out of nowhere. Now, I’m normally not a floral kind of gal. I prefer woody, spicy fragrances and the occasional fruit-forward perfume. So you can probably guess that the name “Flowerbomb” was an immediate turn off for me. All I could picture was powdery, floral drenched grannies at church. I was SO WRONG! I received a tiny sample of Viktor Rolf Flowerbomb many moons ago and was always hesitant to try it. One day, I felt brave and spritzed a bit on my wrist with the plan to rinse it off immediately, but that little spray stayed until I showered the next morning! I have never enjoyed a floral scent so much. It feels sexy, confident, and oh so personal. If you normally dislike floral scents, but are curious about branching out, this is the deliciously modern and youthful floral fragrance you’ve been looking for. It doesn’t give me a headache, and it doesn’t smell like tipsy grandmas at Sunday brunch. (And this is Taylor Swift’s signature scent, how cool is that?). A total win for floral fragrances everywhere! I asked for a travel size bottle of Flowerbomb for Christmas, since I tend to cycle between fragrances regularly and can’t finish full bottles. I couldn’t wait to put it on once I opened it! It’s intoxicating in the best way possible. My husband loves how it smells on me and wants to be as close as possible whenever I wear this. I may just need to upgrade to a full size! Highly recommend.

I absolutely adore Flower Bomb by Viktor Rolf! It's such a cheerful and playful scent that never fails to lift my spirits. The top notes of tea and bergamot are crisp and refreshing, while the heart of Sambac jasmine, rose, and freesia is intoxicatingly floral. I was desperately trying to find a new signature scent because my go-to standard had been discontinued. I am an older gal and old school, and have always been attracted to the more classic subtle scents like Chanel No 5, Opium, Halston, Paloma Picasso, Shalimar, etc... I embarked on my quest to find my scent by purchasing a few eau de parfums. I purchased Valentino, but it was too strong, then I purchased D&G My Way and that didn't make the cut. So, I remember I was at a department store recently and they were promoting some fragrances and I really like one but failed to get the name. I called the store and they were able to help me narrow it down to this parfum, but it was only a guess.
