Easy to install and was a replacement for an old imperial outlet valve. The flush works better than the imperial valve ever did and flush is powerful, not weak like another reviewer has described. There are adjustable tabs on valve to get desired half and full flush levels. I also purchased the fluidmaster 48mm dual flush button to suit imperial tank lid.

Fitted in my old Caroma toilet OK, BUT when it came to connect the 90 degree flush pipe to the bottom of the valve the threads are not the same. back to Bunnings and bought a Kinetic flush pipe nut as Bunnings DO NOT stock the spare parts for Fluidmaster needed to make this connection. This was also the wrong thread. Kinetic fitted my old Caroma threads. Very frustrating trying to get the correct part with matching threads for this unit. Bunnings staff were helpful but I am without a functioning toilet while trying to get the correct parts
Why include a 38mm button ? Just sell this unit on its own a bit cheaper and sell the buttons separately. At the moment you have to buy this unit and if you have a 48mm button you have to buy that too and then throw the 38mm button away.
Installed easily and adjustable to older toilet cistern. I'd say the flush is a little slow however and your torpedo sometimes fails to launch.
l Bought one 6months ago for the Upstairs Toilet. Water was leaking into the bowl. It fixed it & works well. Toilet is a Imperial Brand. Nothing Else Needed.. Today l bought one for my Downstairs Toilet. It works well. But l also had to buy buttons to suit. It's only extra $15- Toilet is a Coroma Brand.. Both toilets are 19yrs old..
I bought this product hoping it would fit my older cistern. Very easy to install and works perfectly
My toilet flushing mechanism broke during lockdown level 4. I ordered the Fluidmaster - Dual Flush and waited the 6 days for it to arrive.It took all of 10 minutes to install and to everyone's relief (pun intended!) we are now able to flush in half or full mode depending on our need.It has been installed for 2 weeks and has worked faultlessly and performs exactly as expected.
some instructions on the mechanism and parts would help adjustments. How many parts are adjustable and how.
