I am using several of the FC meters and accessories to connect to my phone where I’m using Fluke connect. A lot of the time 20 feet of distance will drop a signal to one of the meters monitoring. I’ve never had one stay connected anywhere near 20 meters. I really don’t think the Bluetooth is very powerful. However if you stay close by the system is great.

This meter was very easy to learn how to use. It supports AC and DC voltage, resistance, low range current, capacitance, frequency to 100 khz, diode, and continuity test. The basic functions work very well. The 3000 system supports multiple wireless tools including an imager. I only tested with the voltage module and it worked well. Communication is via short range bluetooth so do not expect range much above 75 feet or so between the meter and modules. One thing I especially like about this meter is its human factors design. It is extremely obvious how to perform any measurement function and it does not require a lot of training to get used to. My only real complaint is that it does not come with a case. The instrument has a 3 year warranty. All in all an ... MoreThis meter was very easy to learn how to use. Like all Fluke products, this is a great meter. Easy to use and does not really require a manual except for the Fluke Connect to a phone app. This is the weak point, really crappy documentation. Instead of a simple paragraph telling how to connect to the phone there is a pictorial that is so small and so low resolution it is barely view able and besides it is wrong. I had to go online and not finding a decent manual there, browsed through the FAQs where i finally found how to make the thing work. Really stupid I had to go through all this. The way to connect is to press the connect button WHILE TURNING THE FUNCTION DIAL This was in the FAQ but not in the pictorial guide and it does not work unless you turn the dial while pressing the connect button. After using the wireless feature for the first time I knew this would be my goto meter. I'm my case it saved me lots of time and energy in the lab since the measurement point was not next to my workstation. I was able to pull up the Fluke Connect app and remotely log results instead of walking across the lab numerous times. Now I grab this meter first.
Great tool. Really enjoying the Bluetooth connect paired with all the other tools, with the exception the PC software is highly underdeveloped. While you can view "real time" data, you can only view one graph over time at a time yet with the APP you can view many. I should be able to select my duration on the PC side and view as many as connectable within the system.Beyond this the meter itself is what you would expect from fluke minus its ultra low DC current capability. This should be 10A min. Very poor decision. My own fault for not checking but in this day and age I feel it should be a minimum standard.Added plus, really like the accessories; needs a magnet hang like all the other wireless Bluetooth tools haveHopefully a plus side -- with software ... MoreGreat tool. Please release some updates and upgrades!!
I purchased this as part of a kit that included the 3000FC, t3000FC, and a3000FC. This is great to be able to hook up to the mains of a chiller and close the door. I can start the unit and watch voltage and current without having the concerns of having the door open while a unit starts. Only thing I would change is to swap the a3000 out for an a3001 with the ability to use the flex CT.
This has proven to be a great meter for use in I&C applications. Having the ability to remotely monitor inputs makes troubleshooting a breeze. It also makes it possible to send a trended screenshot for documentation. This also makes for a safe alternative when testing inside VFD's and MCC applications. The software is improving but was pretty bad at first, I've seen a few improvements since I first received this meter. I have several clients who have purchased this exact meter after seeing it in action while I was troubleshooting their problem.
Purchased this meter with the wireless amp and voltage adapters. Great tool for keeping the electricians out of the switch gear. All the readings on the meter and Fluke Connect. LOVE IT!!! Fluke Connect will save lives and injuries!! Keep up the innovation.
I ordered this assuming that it would have the same 10A current-draw capability as my previous Fluke products. Well, that's my fault, but this flaw makes it inappropriate for automotive troubleshooting use. I really don't want to spend the amount on batteries that the 233 requires, but I guess I will have to. The product manager for this product should get coal in their stocking for Xmas.
The meter can only measure 400 mA, and doesn't support temperature like most Fluke meters in this price range. For example, the Fluke 233 with remote display is about the same price, and will measure 10A & temp. The bluetooth feature is invaluable for remote measurements.

Fluke 3000 FC Wireless Digital Multimeter
The wireless Fluke Connect system offers maintenance technicians an ideal way to stay in touch with their teams without leaving the job site. The Fluke Connect app works with over 20 Fluke measuring devices, making diagnostics and troubleshooting easier than ever. By using Fluke Connect measuring devices with the app, technicians can efficiently and securely capture, store, and share maintenance data from the field. Additionally, technicians and managers can access historical or live data from anywhere, as it is automatically stored in the Fluke Cloud. The FLK-3000 FC series wireless measuring devices from Fluke can capture current measurements from multiple wireless modules simultaneously for troubleshooting and display them clearly on the multimeter or a remote computer screen. The customizable measuring system is characterized by robustness, reliability, and quality. The wireless multimeter displays its own measurements as well as those from up to 3 wireless modules. Using the PC adapter, measurements from up to 10 modules can be displayed on the computer. The wireless range extends up to 20 meters. Modules with wireless transmission technology measure AC voltage, temperature, and AC current. For AC current measurements, you can choose between a true RMS clamp and a flexible true RMS clamp. The modules can be freely combined to suit specific measurement requirements. The multimeter serves as the foundation for the FLK-3000 FC wireless measuring system. It functions as a "normal" multimeter for daily measurement tasks with the usual measurement ranges. As a highlight, up to 3 measurements from a maximum of 10 measurement modules can be selected and displayed simultaneously on the screen, allowing for the monitoring of up to 4 measurement parameters at the same time.
