Bought this meter 3 years ago maybe used 10 times. Went to use today First time in about a year. Meter came up with a critical error. Not what I expect from a fluke model. I would not buy Or recommend this fluke model. Fluke let me down when I needed it. I called fluke representative and was told out of warranty you got to buy another one I can’t help you. Buy another meter. Another meter that showed me dependability

Been an electrician for years and used many Fluke meters including this modal. Got this one for the house and haven't been disappointed. Reliable, accurate, and priced right. The amp clamp is a must for checking amp draw both monitoring and troubleshooting.

This is my first experience with Fluke.When I first held the meter, the first thing I noticed was how solid it felt. Not heavy at all, just the feel of solid craftsmanship and not cheap plastic. The meter reads perfectly and the leads are plenty long enough.There's LOTS of cheaper options out there but if you're looking for quality, dependability, and longevity in a meter, Fluke is second to none, especially for the professional.
True RMS clamp meter, about as cheap as you will find (irrespective of brand), with Fluke quality and reliability, why would you pay a few dollars less?Have had one for a year or two, just purchased six more for our guys.Doesn't have a ton of features you don't need for simple electrical measurements and field work. You have to pay for those extra features that go unused....
Great Multimeter,, Have used this kind at work. Bought one to have around the home. The only issue is that the carry case is too small. I have to take the leads off to fit it in the case.
This is a high quality clamp meter that serves many functions. I found the instrument to be accurate, easy to use especially in tight areas. Comes with test leads and a carrying case. I replaced an old Amp Probe that I have had for about 40 years and wished now I had done it sooner. Fluke is an excellent investment for me.
I always used Fluke meters when I was a working electrician and they used to be indestructible. I figured I would give this one a shot when my old one finally wore completely out after about 25 years of use. I used it occasionally and always put it back in the case and it basically looked new the first time I dropped it. It fell about 3 feet to the floor while I was working on my motorcycle. I guess it killed the LED as I took it apart and found nothing loose or broken. Not the same Fluke I grew up using. Since I don't need a $300 meter these days I will probably look at the Milwaukee as a replacement. Pretty disappointed.
You have to push the Hold button to record a reading which means you have to take your hands and your eyes off the test points, not a good thing when dealing with high voltage measurements. Hold was meant to be a way of taking a reading while keeping both hands on the test leads in tight spaces and attention on the dangerous electrical surroundings. This model requires 3 hands or a helper to record a reading. May as well not have included it in the design.
as a commercial electrician I use this meter on a very regular basis and trust my life with it. I really like the size of this meter over some of the bigger meters that i have used it is small enough that on days that I am constantly using it, it fits nicely in my tool pouches without taking up too much room and still gives just as accurate readings as those bigger more expensive meters i also really like having the clamp even if i am not using it, i really like having the option to hang it in a panel and use it hands free. the price was also great when I bought this meter i believe i paid about 80 for it and have been super pleased, i was looking for a quality meter that wouldn't break the bank while being small enough to carry all day and still give me all the ... Moreas a commercial electrician I use this meter on a very regular basis and trust my life with it. This means you cannot leave the leads plugged in and still fit the meter in its case. So basically, every time I use it, I have to pop the leads back in, and every time I'm done, I have to unplug the leads. I've seen a similar Fluke model where the leads plug in on the front face. On that model you can at least leave the leads plugged in and still fit the meter in its case. Seems like a unimportant detail, but it does make life easier. Just something to note.
