First off the Gloss Black finish is extremely beautiful, shines like a mirror.Second the sound that’s produced from these speakers is extremely impressive, crisp clean and to the point.You hear everything many things that you never herd on your albums from the past playing of them.I’m impressed and the team at MusicDirect were very helpful.

These things are absolutely next level. Completely blew me away when I went to demo them at a local showroom. Quite frankly, these are way overkill for my current setup in an apartment, but we have good soundproofing between units. I just can't let these rip at night without being a bother. As you can see from the pictures, I mixmatched most of the channels, but it turned out really great. I think they all flow very well together, and I'm extremly happy with my purchases. These really anchor the entire system, and I could not be happier with them.If you're considering these: Quit considering and just do it. You won't regret it.

About 5 years ago I purchased a pair of Polk RTi A9 speakers and I've been extremely happy with them. I was looking to purchase a new pair of speakers for a different location, and I wanted to buy a pair that would be better than the Polks and not too expensive. My 9.2 system is powered by a Yamaha 150 watt per channel AV receiver and the two sub-woofers are very good Golden Ear Forcefield 4's. The room is about 23 feet wide. The sound stage is floor to ceiling and wall to wall. It is amazing. The music is accurate and you can place the instruments forward and backward as well as up and down. If you close your eyes, you think you are in the venue. The base is quite good, fast, accurate and deep (even without the Golden Ear subs). When the subs are engaged, I have them play at 40 hz and below. I am happy.
