Folgers Classic Roast Instant Coffee Crystals, 3 Ounces

I received the Folgers Classic Roast Instant Coffee. The flavor is great, not bitter, and has a lot of warmth. I love that it's so convenient for when you're in a rush. Since it's instant coffee, I don't need to use my keurig or any other type of coffee maker and even make it in the microwave when I need to. It does its job by waking me up and has a very pleasant aroma. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for the ease and convenience of an instant coffee without sacrificing quality or flavor.

I have been a long time coffee drinker and I am big on a good aroma coffee and strong. The taste is definitely a bitter coffee. It’s strong and taste like Folgers. now I’m not one usually for instant coffee I like mine to be steep through a Keurig so this is more of a convenience thing if you’re out and about but it’s good. Folgers has a brand that’s been around for long before my time I like their coffee. This to my surprise mixed well some/most instant coffee leaves a film or coffee bits in it. But this did not. I am gifting it to my grandmas as she loves instant coffee.

Bring back the old flip-top lid!

This is my favorite instant coffee, and it has been for decades. However, the most recent jar I purchased has a new lid that makes it harder to use, especially for some elderly and disabled people. It’s a screwtop instead of the previous flip-top. Many companies recently have been cutting corners on quality in their products (amount of product per package, ingredients, packaging durability, etc.), in an attempt to cut costs or make a few cents more per unit. Then they attempt to pass them off as the same products, hoping customers won’t notice. (We do!) It’s disappointing to see Folgers take this approach with their packaging. They may save a few cents in the short term, but will lose loyal customers in the long term. I've been drinking Folgers coffee crystals for years, and I really like the taste and the convenience of getting a quick cup of coffee. I was able to buy a larger size at Sam's, but I didn't want to make a trip to Sam's Club, just for Folgers. Since I'm a plus member, I had it mailed to me, and there was no shipping charge. And I got the same great price online that I would have gotten in the store. I've really enjoyed being a Sam's Club Plus member. I've used the shipping several times for items I needed but was unable to pick up since I'm elderly and disabled.

If you want a “real” cup of coffee, I’d say stick with a coffee you can brew

For a quick cup of coffee it’s convenient, but if you want a “real” cup of coffee I’d say stick with a coffee you can brew. I usually lean toward a strong cup so the recommended amount was too weak for my liking, but if you put too much of the instant coffee it quickly becomes bitter. All that to say, it was quite average. So do with that what you will. It’s up to you, but a medium roast coffee that you can make at home in basically seconds for a coffee fix, yeah, I’d say that’s worth a second look. Obviously, keep your expectations managed, as it is an instant at-home coffee though.
