I was overcharged, based on the initial VERBAL estimate of $1000, for front brakes and back calipers. Instead I was billed $2000, accused of being a liar and my car keys withheld. I will NEVER SHOP at Canadian Tire again. I was cheated with a faulty verbal estimate that was grossly below the final amount - and then accused of being a liar.

I bought these pads and when I got home noticed the plastic bag containing clips and shims had been torn open and there was no brake sensor. My car has a wear sensor on the right side pads both front and rear which needs to be replaced when changing pads but this was nowhere to be found.I returned to the store and explained my situation but the parts manager at the Dalhousie store stated there was no sensor included with the kit. I doubt this as there is a warning to check the pads if the sensor is not installed so you cannot complete the job without it.I believe the sensor from the package I bought was stolen but the manager disagreed. I purchased the sensor. The brake pad in this kit has a place for the sensor to attach and should be part of the kit for ... I’ve had both front and rear rotors and pads plus rear calipers replaced on my car and although the brakes work well they squeal very, very loudly which is so loud that neighbors and pedestrians stop and stare. Your service department say it’s because the new rotors have a protective coating that needs to wear off. The front rotors were replaced months ago and still squeal. I’m not at all satisfied !

This came 10 days sooner than the original projected delivery which was a bonus. When I took it out of the package it had no identifiable markings which confirmed it was a “knock-off”. And the foils sat higher than my original Braun which made me concerned it was the wrong one and wouldn’t fit. However it did work and after 5 shaves it seems as good as the Braun original. And for the price, it seems a good purchase. It is too soon to assess durability and longevity but so far so good.
Pads may be great, but the serive is not. I made an appointment 3 weeks ahead of time for 8am. At 09:30, my car was still sitting in the bay with no one working on it. I asked the girl if they were awaiting for the brakes to cool before starting? She said three people were ahead of me. I asked why they had booked four people for 8am. She tells me, they did not have an appointment. They just dropped off their keys that night. First come, first serve. So keep this in mind. Booking online, or by phone means nothing. Just drop off your keys the night after they close. Drive home with your spare keys, then show up at 07:55 the next day. I took my car to the dealers.
These installed well! I used my own lube, as usual, and the installation went well. The pads are pretty small (compared to the front) but that's in the design of the car. My front pads were about half worn while the rear were gone and I had to replace the discs on the rear due to excessive wear/gouging! Again, that's a car design problem! BUT, I never had any 'noise' from the rotors until the night before a trip to Chatham even though the rotors were 'done'! But, again, this is from the original equipment. So far, the new pads are working veery well, very smooth!
Purchased these pads to install at home. Have installed one set on driver side no problem. Came to install passenger side but I had a lug nut that I couldn't remove (this was on Motormaster tires that I got installed - and re-torqued as required at Canadian Tire). I drove to Canadian Tire to see if they could loosten the lug nut but they would charge me for it - even though it's their own tires and workmanship.I was ready to pay as I was stuck and since their bays were mostly empty I thought it would be an easy in and out however the service staff would tell me that they couldn't get it in for possibly a couple of days.Ended up going to Fountain Tire next door and they loosened the lug nut for me within 3 minutes at no charge.
Canadian Tire is using low quality replacement parts. These brakes have been replaced for the third time in three years. Yes, they give you the new set of parts as a warranty replacement, but still charge you $700 for service. It’s quite the business model…give out cheap parts and have the customer come back annually for a much bigger service charge.
Extremely happy with them. I bought Brembos before. Unfortunately they squealed from day one. I took it apart multiple times and greased the parts that are causing the squeal. No joy after 4 times trying it. I bought these out of frustration and guess what. They work super quietly with minimum lube applied. They bite very well. Can't talk about how long they'll last. Overall highly recommend them.
Pads were well packaged and clean, and came with spring clips. The only reason I'm not giving full five stars is because the instructions for the clips could be better. Just spend the money to for a larger page or even 2 pages, and make the diagrams clearer. If I didn't have YouTube, It would have been difficult for me to figure out correct orientation, especially for the anti-rattle clips on the front pads.
