Its important to give captive birds variety in their diets. This product does that as it contains a wide variety of food that helps to give them a balanced diet. I am still trialing it and see that my canaries eat the smaller bits and tend to leave larger pieces. I might try putting it through the nut grinder and see if they eat the larger bits.
