FOREO Luna 4 Body - Evergreen

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I have always loved the fast service of Beauty Affairs with free samples with my orders. Last month my shampoo bottle broke in the post and leaked everywhere. When I advised Beauty Affairs they sent a new bottle straight away free of charge. Unfortunately this order did not arrive so when I advised them of this Anna at Client Care sent me a new bottle straight away but along with this she also sent me the matching conditioner, and my favourite full cleanser to say sorry. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long time. I’ve always had amazing service from Beauty Affairs and will not buy my beauty products anywhere else

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! To me those are two of the most important things! I can’t go out I don’t have time to do anything... I appreciate anyone who can get me my stuff quick and who actually get back to you! Better than I imagined!

When I received this product I wasn't necessarily sure how much I would use it but it's incredible! My skin has never felt softer so instantly. I've been using the device every time I shower and have noticeable skin care differences. My skin is softer, my in-grown hairs are fewer and the radiance of my skin is glowing. It's made such a difference I can't imagine using anything else. If you're thinking of getting it, just do it because you won't be disappointed. The only thing I would change would be the leather strap to a more animal-friendly material.

Good but not perfect

I’ve been using this for a few weeks now. I’m glad I got it. I love being able to get an exfoliating deep clean from a hygienic, reusable device. It’s attractive and easy to use. But there are some downsides: 1.) it’s small, so it doesn’t cover much surface area at a time and takes a long time to use; 2.) its gentle but not nearly as gentle as washing with hands or a soft cloth. My skin can tolerate it about twice a week. 3.) it’s not as versatile or luxe as the Luna — much more of a basic device. All of that being said, it’s good for what it is and worth the price.

Luna Body: Give it time- it’s amazing

I bought this with both hope and skepticism- hope because my luna 3 for the face was *instantly* amazing, skepticism because I though- body skin is tougher, and this will do nothing. And at first it definitely felt useless, but after spending $$ you don’t just give up 😂- fast forward a few weeks and one day I touch my thigh and was surprised at how baby soft it felt! I was still skeptical and thought maybe my new body wash had something to do with it. Meanwhile that body wash ran out and I’m actually a soap and crib gal usually- so between the body wash running out and my lack of habit w any implement (loofah, towel, whatever: I don’t use any for my body), I stopped using it. Needless to say, I now do my best to use this every day on my arms and thighs (and yes- my thigh feels silky again even with just soap and this!)

Really good … but …

I have used the FOREO luna and other beauty gadgets since their kickstarter programs. I love them. And, I’ve been waiting for years for a body brush to come out, It’s well priced. I bought lavender (for upstairs) and peach perfect (for downstairs) … I know. The reason I gave it four stars is because other competitors in the market, right now, offer sonic body washers (see Homedics) at a fraction of the price with lots more options (like different washes and massages). And, I am sure there will be an upgraded version, at an upgraded price (that’s what FOREO do), on the market soon. Truthfully, I wish I’d waited for the next version and stuck with my blue one.

Really nice device leaves skin smooth.

I really like using this device however, it uses ALOT of body wash. When you run out of body wash on the Foreo the experience is not so great which it lasts only about 10 seconds. It leaves my skin very clean and smooth. I really enjoy the relaxing experience. You have to learn how to hold it though, by reflex you hold it like a disc and it can turn up the massage setting by accident so you have to make an effort to hold it without turning up the massage intensity. The colour is nice, it is easy to keep clean and doesn't smell. I use it every 2nd wash. You have to fully charge the device before use, due to this, I'm not sure how long it will last. It adds a bit of luxury to your wash.

effective but overpriced

It is definitely useful and effective, though you can probably achieve similar results from a common loofah. I use it almost everyday. Will make a luxurious gift if you have money to throw around. Cons - it pauses intermittently for a while (at the one minute mark, I think?) and its annoying because it disrupts my cleaning. It also shuts off way too early IMO (Like why? Is there a health risk to use more than 3 minutes? It makes no sense to me). The string sometimes gets in the way, and I would have preferred it to be interchangeable with a stick, but it is what it is.
