This is a product that has a fair amount of both upsides and downsides, but one of the biggest cons is the price. This is something that I'd heard about and saw people receiving it on influenster even on YouTube and I wanted to try it. Had I not gotten the chance to try it for the sake of submitting a review, though, it would've been prohibitively expensive for me. Other reviewers have mentioned the idea that if you're someone who regularly gets facials, then purchasing and using the UFO in lieu of those treatments would eventually save you money. I do have to say that I really dislike how dependent the UFO is on the app, for many reasons. First, if you want real instructions, you have to get them on said app (or they can be downloaded from the company's website). Secondly, if your phone is a little on the older side, the app won't be compatible with your device. Then, too, I've heard from some people that the app doesn't even work all that well sometimes. (That hasn't happened to me, so it didn't impact this particular review, but I thought it was worth mentioning.) Frankly, it seems really gimmicky to me, especially since the UFO arrives already pre-programmed for two of the masks; with that being the case, I would have really preferred that all of the masks - or even just all of the ones that came with the product - were also pre-programmed in the device, and then the app could be more along the lines of a bonus feature rather than something that is basically mandatory. As for those benefits, I can say that in 90 seconds, the masks (and the various combinations of lights, temperature variations, and pulses/vibrations that come courtesy of the UFO) leave the skin feeling softer, moisturized, and (for the most part) smoother. The latter is important as I'm someone with sensitive skin, and I have seen some breakouts after using the masks - they're small and tend to heal quickly, but something (likely the fragrances) does cause my skin to react while simultaneously making it look and feel somewhat better overall. Another plus is that this doesn't take long to charge, and it holds that charge for quite awhile: even though I've used mine many times, there still isn't any indication that the charge is running low. Ultimately, this is a nice, relaxing product that seems to do some good things for the skin. However, in my experience, the downsides are more significant than the benefits; therefore, I can't say that the product's high cost is justified. Nice idea, love cold/warm features, but it’s Not connecting to app sometimes, terns of if battery half full. Foreo has very bad customer service support. Be AWARE! No help, no info how to return, I got email that they removing my review becouse it’s not relevant information even though I wrote a lot about masks and device itself. So they blocking real Customers opinion if it’s not positive feedback on their App. It’s very pleasant to use it when it’s working, warm and cold, but masks are sticky and I have to clean them out, my pores got too much of grease after if I not wash it. First off it is so pretty! I got the fushia UFO2, which is this pretty hot pink type color and is gold on top and where you put on the mask. There was enough serum with the daytime mask so I did a treatment on my 8yr old daughter and she was so relaxed it put her to sleep, if that doesn't tell you how amazing it feels idk what will. afterwards our skin felt so soft and it didn't leave that weighed down feeling some moisturizers leave on your skin. You can also use this to apply any other face masks, serums, and moisturizers, as long as you clean it after each use. I use this almost every night with the blue, red, and green colors and cold settings to apply my the ordinary serums and it Cosmetics face and eye creams.

Danger of addiction

I waited a very long time before I bought the UFO. I have an old Luna that I absolutely love and just bought a new one, relegating the old one to the suitcase. Luna has completely changed my skin, using it twice a day. No amount of surface treatments (and I use them all) has given me the smooth complexion that I have like the Luna. With age and with more research, I gravitate more to tools than skincare these days. And this is an absolute game changer. Yes, you do need an app to use it, and even to use their masks, as you just select the mask from the app and it will work its magic. But I've come to like the small 5 minutes break in my day when I use this tool. It is beyond amazing in terms of hydration. I used a green tea mask one evening and hours after my skin was still hydrated without applying anything else on top. It feels like after a spa treatment. And during the mask itself, the heat and cold (I'm not a fan of the pulsations) feel so good on the skin. I am hesitant about the LED, but it doesn't hurt to have it there. I looked for bad reviews and never found any and I see why! This isn't a beauty tool, it's a healing device. Most reviews talk about beauty applications and all those I've discovered as true, but let me say it's healing! Usually when I cry, my entire nose and eye area is swollen for days. Cyro+5 vibe+your favorite color and you're back to normal. It heals cuts and bruises with just one use! They should double the size and market it to athletic departments, emergency rooms, schools, places that deal with common injuries.(things I've notice playing around with the UFO2) I believe the cyro function works by moving the machine in a circular motion, even on the lowest heat setting it gets too hot if it's stationary on the skin! UFO2- love love love

I absolutely love my UFO2. I started w the UFO2 mini, but weirdly had issues with two of them (first what seemed like a problem w holding charge, and then what seemed like an issue w the heating element)- ultimately upgraded to the UFO2, and let me tell you: start w this one! Thankfully this one had no issues, but there’s always a chance a device malfunctions and FOREO provide great customer service, so that’s a not why I’m saying to just go for the UFO; the reason you should get the UFO, not the mini, is because the cold function is *amazing*!! Works great, you don't need their masks though

I usually don't care about skincare devices because I'm too lazy to charge them and clean them and this requires an app which is super tedious. However, this device has been amazing for me. I have a lot of facial swelling, pain, and tightness and after a few uses with this device the swelling and tightness are much better. My fave is noticeably less swollen as well! I use my own skincare products with this and I do find it helps them absorb much better and it leaves a nice glow and bounce to my skin after. It is very pricey but if you're looking to splurge it is worth it for me at least. The one thing I hate is having to use the app, it just takes forever to connect the device and you have to turn on location for some reason.!!!
