FOREO UFO Smart Mask Treatment - Fuchsia

I have had this foreo pearl pink for years now and I have been using it every day/night since I got it!. It definitely made my skin more relaxed and moisturized plus it leaves a spa-like feeling whenever I use it. Love it! The foreo machine includes only one mask with a charging cable, so always need to buy a masque refill if you want to use it for a long run. You also have to download the apps so that you can scan your masks barcode to get the machine to perform the correct routine. Only downside is the size and shape of the UFO that makes it a little bit hard to navigate in some of the contours of my face, especially the area around my nose and eyes. Time to mask with UFO2 machine? The answer is: ONLY 1'-1'30s is enough and then you can apply a 15'-20' paper mask. 5. Do I need to wash my face after applying Foreo's mask? The answer is: NO. Unlike paper masks and the usual way of applying masks, most of the time, after applying, you have to wash your face, so the Foreo mask will not be washed again. Bought this as a bit of an impulse buy, safe in the knowledge it can go back if it fails to inspire me with results. As a previously qualified beautician and an avid lover of all things beauty I set to work setting up the app, make sure you fully charge the appliance first .As soon as ready I was utterly and totally impressed with the app and its instructions on how to use . I used the mask twice for a first go and honestly could not believe the results. I had to look in different lighting and mirrors to believe the difference.I am booked in to see an aesthetics nurse next week to have help with all of the above and am now going so that she can see what this little pot of magic can do . Bargain price - the masks alone are worth £100+

IT IS A FULLY APP BASED DEVICEDo i think they should have brought out a manual version, perhaps, as if your phone dies you cant use the applianceThat said the masks have so many different sequences from red light LED, to green light LED, to cyrotherapy (cooling sensation) etc, it would be impossible to manually choose all the settings for each mask....as they are so intricate...why im thinking they have it all linked to the app, so you can literally sit back and select the mask you are using and it sends to the device the signalPlease also be aware it charges off a usb, and no plug attachment is included. So you charge it up FIRST before synching with the app....as when it tries to connect your device to the app you have to press the power button and hold it down for 5-10 secsIf you havent charged the device first you cant do it...so charge it first. I plugged it on charge for about 20 mins before linking it to the appA helpful tip is to choose a treatment select 'treatments' and 'settings' on the app main menuIt gives you a full selection of options to click on to listen to how to use it etcThe masks are very enriched with product. i find them very saturated, and lots left in the sachet once you take the mask out...so a good tip is you dont need to bin the sachet, save it for the evening whats left inside the sachet and use the serum to rub it on your neck / décolletage or face at nightOverall a fab bargain, this isnt the UFO2 the updated model but tbh it does most things the UFO2 does and youd pay nearly this alone for the masks - so the machine on its own is worth £250 and the masks over £100....total value £350This is an absolute bargain - especially on easy pay of £50 a monthbeing honest i feel this is geared at the younger market, who are app friendly and glued to their phones all day and nightThat said im 43 and easily went to google. downloaded foreo app and managed to work this fine.Just dont buy if you think its a manual machine that works without using the app - you cannot use this on its own without the appSo you need your phone with you near the device when you use itOverall i think its great and you see the residue on the mask at the end of what its deep cleaned out your faceGiven i am meticulous about my skincare i was shocked to see residue on the mask, in particular a light colour, like foundation...when id cleaned my face spotlessly the night beforeSo this must deep clean your pores and thats greatAlso dont do two cycles of the mask back to back if youve sensitive skin. I tried that and it made my skin sore like sunburn abit. I think the LED red light was too much for two cycles of the mask back to back. Just try one 90 sec cycle to ease your skin into it...then if you wish to try two back to back see how you go...if your skin feels sore then you know its too much for your skin and go back to one cycleThat said my friend whos a beauty therapist said one cycle is enough so i personally dont do two cycles just one.My favourite mask so far is the glow one, that uses green light not red. If you find your skin sensitive maybe just use the masks that dont incorporate red LED light into them ...the green light is gentler.You know when you select the mask what light it uses as you see the colour glowing...when you try each mask youll be able to work out the lights and if you experience any sensitivity, maybe stick just to the masks that work with the lights that your skin works best withMy friends were fine with all masks, my skin was sensitive to the red LED light and when i did masks with that light, my skin could feel abit sensitive. So now i just stick to the masks which use LEd green light ...Also for those mature ladies who want an extra treat for anti ageing and firming, you can buy the foreo CAVIAR mask on the foreo site and online from most retailers...this is a step up from these regular ones and is AMAZING!! but not cheap, however worth itThose moaning about the cost of masks. well dont buy it then ....yes you do have to pay for masks but you get 6 in a box so its a weekly cost but so are facials and good skin care at a costYou can buy the masks most places easily and they arent too expensive....personally id buy a few of these sets and save the masks and maybe give the extra machine to a friend or sell it on ebay or something....as the masks cost pretty much what youre paying here on their ownHope that helps people and any questions i will gladly answer

Broke after 6 weeks!

I was really excited to try this device, so grabbed the opportunity when it was a TSV. To be honest, I was a little worried that most of the reviews were not from QVC, but from the Foreo website. For some reason, I trust QVC customer reviews more, but needless to say I wanted to give it a go.It did leave my skin feeling lovely after each mask, but the results were not long lasting. I used a mask every day, but again, I didn't honestly notice any obvious change in my skin, and I wasn't expecting miracles to begin with! I know from working in dermatology, that for any light to have any obvious effect on the skin, it has to be shone on the skin for a minimum of 10 minutes - so the 90 - 120 seconds you get with this device for each treatment is not going to have any ... MoreI was really excited to try this device, so grabbed the opportunity when it was a TSV. GREAT INNOVATIVE PRODUCT FOR AT HOME FACIALS!

This is an amazing product for someone like me who wants to save money on facials which at this rate you'd only be able to afford a couple of facials in the beauty salon! So, this is a great economic way to save money on facials! HOWEVER, because of its shape, it can't really get to the main problem areas like the T-zone area especially the nose which is the biggest issue of mine. I'd knock down half a point more, but UFO's rating system doesn't allow half ratings, so it had to be a full 4 star rating. So even when I was using it I felt like I maybe should only keep this for when I'm going away rather than using it every week, you know? I'm sure this was made for higher-income people who can carry around £200+ worth of product just for travelling and aren't afraid of losing which isn't me as I, on the other hand, would be trying to keep this product VERY VERY safely since it's expensive and I'd want to make sure I can make it last at least for 5 years! My also other teething issue is with how much product each packet have inside it-you could fit a decent size of tube with the amount that comes in a single packet which no one can use up all at each sessions so I do feel like you’re wasting quite a bit in there so it would’ve been better if the each pack came with more numbers of individual packets in them with decent proportions of liquid instead of getting only 7 packets with crazy amount of liquid you know? Although anybody with a higher income than mine won’t mind any of the things I’ve mentioned so it could just be if you’re not well off like me!The product in itself works wonders in getting your skin to absorb all the products, so I do feel like it's doing the job really well in that matter hence the 4 stars for its functionality. I don’t really have any issue with how it work as it works brilliantly! Just wished it was longer than 90 seconds and also that it got around your nose and that there were more packets inside the packs as you're paying quite a lot for those! £10 for 7 days is £40 per month making that £480 for just 1 type of face mask that you could use at only one time of the day. If you were to do it both night and morning like it's recommended that's another £480 making it a total of £960 just for the face mask! So yeah this is more like a treat for someone with a low income like me rather than something you can travel with risk free!

I agree with the comments from the last reviewer called Tryphena. The QVC information during the presentation or on the website was not enough to get me started. I looked up Foreo for info and demonstrations, but they did not explain enough for older people, in basic terms how to get set up, the masks are already on the phone once set up, but the internet kept referring to scanning the mask pouch for recognition. However, the email from Foreo a couple of days after receiving the UFO gave more helpful details. Also, my husband, who is tech savvy added his input, but even he was initially challenged. However now I have had a few practices, I can now appreciate the beauty gadget. Lovely little gadget

I was bought this as a gift. I had some real teething problems with it initially, because I have an old phone which struggled with the Bluetooth (I have had to use my husband's newer phone to install the app). A Windows Store application for this device would help those of us with older phones and better desktops. :)I primarily bought the device to use with my existing skincare as mentioned on the presentation, as the masks run quite expensive to use on a regular basis. If you use it this way, as Alison mentioned, you only have to turn it on and the machine will run through a red light and pulsation cycle. My skin usually runs rather dry and hormonal - the device really drives the ingredients deep into the skin. They are well impregnated, so I have used it twice and might get a third use out of a single mask. I feel it has the same efficacy in applying your regular moisturiser, so am also using it morning and night with my regular routine.As a tool to apply skincare to get the most benefits, it is the easiest I've used and extremely convenient. It has already made my skin look more plump and dewy. I can't rate it enough, actually. If you don't have the ability to connect this device with an app, though, you will be missing out in terms of the mask programmes, so ensure you can do this before purchase. My mobile phone is about 5 years old and would not pair with this device.Heartily recommended. I'm already thinking about the Luna 3 Plus some time next year.

Nifty device. Stopped working soon after purchase

The device is neat and to me seemed a good concept. Having worked in the mobile development industry for some 20 odd years I consider myself pretty mobile tech savvy and downloaded the app to my Samsung and was able to sync and get the app working no problem.I am not very keen on all the other product promotions the app forces you to view before allowing access to the device you want to use. Neither am I overjoyed at the number of promotional emails Foreo sends out.Those points aside I started to use the masks and my skin certainly felt smooth and refreshed after use. So I was pretty pleased to begin with.However, the app is glitchy and I found it didn't always get the program on the device working correctly. I have used 5 different masks and haven’t seen any difference to my skin. My skin surface is acne scarred but In excellent condition due to QVC beauty education. This device really isn’t adding anything more.
