Upgrading from the Julianna HR. Immediately disappointed with this watch. The watch face feels cheap, like plastic instead of metal. The OS is exceedingly slow. I was ensured that the stainless steel waych band from my previous watch would fit, even though they wouldn't let me test it in the store - surprise surprise the band doesn't fit.The buttons are not all customizable. I don't use Alexa or Hey Google, as it's not appropriate for my work environment, so now the top button is useless for me. The battery life is less than 10 hours even on battery saving mode, so it doesn't make it through my 12 hour shift, and definitely not able to sleep with it on.Overall I'm disappointed. The product arrived quickly in about 3 days, and I was initially very impressed, it comes in a large box that feels very premium, with two watch bands, a watch, a magnetic charger, and two cases. Setting it up was quite easy, but I had trouble loading my Google account onto it (I still can't) but this is because it has certain restrictions because of parental controls.The system isn't as laggy as many people mention, it has a few quirks now and again but its nothing that stops anything from happening. The battery lasted from around 7am in the morning (fully charged) to 3 or 4pm the same day before it went to the "Watch Only" mode which is just displaying the time, so that wasn't great. If you put it on extended mode, you can still do most of the things like step tracking, and it does last a bit longer, the full day.The screen is nice and not too small, the bezels are acceptable and not that noticeable. Nice design, fits well on the wrist, feels good quality, the bands are thick and strong, the watch is made of steel (I think) with a matte coating. Just don't put on the hideous orange case because it makes the watch look clunky and childish...Google assistant works well and you can install things from the google play store, alexa (the default) assistant is kind of stupid, if you click the button to launch it, EVERY TIME it sends you to another screen, then you click the button again and after 20s of initialising or whatever it decides to work, so stick with Google Assistant. It is no way near as bad as people point it out to be, and for 138 bucks + 6 bucks shipping I am happy with my purchase (another watch at 140 would be a lot worse), if I was buying it at the full price, I would probably give it 2 stars purely for the battery as that is the 1 thing I need!!Out of the box it works great, just the battery is pretty abysmal. Now I just need a way to convince my parents to stop the parental controls so I can link all my stuff and use GPay and everything :/

I have always been pleased with fossil watches and have purchased them without fear for the past 20+ years. I had a hybrid watch before this that lasted only 22 months before it was not useable. I traded it in at an outlet for $100 off this watch and paid $100 plus tax. Great deal it was for my birthday I was so excited to get this watch. It's a beautiful watch. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I have to charge it twice a day sometimes, and every time I do I have to go back in and turn off the kind and redo the settings the way I like it. It doesn't connect to the recommended app and the fossil app only reconnects it sometimes. I've had it for 6 weeks and the strap is ripping.
