After riding the original Proframe helmet for a few years, definitely think the RS model is worth the extra $. The added features, Boa adjuster and fitlock strap add to an already incredible design. Air flow is excellent and the slight increase in weight versus a non-full face helmet is worth the added weight. I still use a dh related helmet at bike parks, but the Proframe is awesome for a wide array of trail conditions. Super comfortable and Fox has added some pretty cool color schemes.

After taking a nasty fall, I decided it was time to upgrade to a full face helmet. The Fox Proframe RS with the new MIPs technology is exactly what I was looking for. What an epic helmet fox designed. It's adjustable boa system makes for an absolutely perfect fit. The helmet is extremely lightweight and very well ventilated. The magnetic chin strap is also an epic touch. I feel much more confident and protected when riding. It was a bit expensive but ya get what you pay for. I'm super stoked on it!

This thing is light, sturdy, comfortable, and well-ventilated.I have a big weird head that is hard to fit. I've never been able to find a motorcycle helmet that fits properly, but the Proframe with the BOA adjustment fits like it was made for me.It's surprisingly lightweight and extremely well-ventilated. My first time wearing it was at a hot sunny bike park and it never felt like the helmet was making me hotter. Often I would leave it on between runs just to keep the sun off my head and face.Going downhill I feel more air moving around my face and head than I do when I'm wearing my half lid (Fox speedframe). Not sure how that works but it really does.

This helmet straight up saved my life. Having the integra split system and the chin bar is a must on the trails. I’m glad I was wearing this helmet as it being breathable and lightweight kept me wearing the helmet and in the moment of a crash having it on was the best thing I could’ve done. I’ll definitely be buying another one once I’m on a bike again. Seriously cannot recommend this helmet enough I’ll always be wearing one now!
Picked this up as I wanted a dedicated DH/Enduro helmet and to move away from the Bell Super DH I had been using for so many years. I have a speedframe half shell which I used to gauge my sizing and that was a bit of a mistake. These helmets are cut large. I use a medium in the speedframe but on this am almost using every click the BOA system has to get a tight fit. So measure your head and double check before ordering. Speaking of the BOA system - its amazing. Instead of just tightening from the back of the head the boa pulls from back and front so you keep you head centered in the helment and its easy to find a comfortable setting. The large air vents provide a ton of air so I feel like it will do a great job of keeping me cooler in the hot humid north east summers.
I have had the helmet over a month now and live in the sunshine state of Florida. Helmet has great ventilation for full face. The fit systems is great at adapting to preferred configurations. What it lacks is the sweat guard from the Florida heat as provided by less expensive helmets.. The head liner is not resilient enough to retain the sweat. I find myself squeezing the headliner to release the fluids to control it. Otherwise, it would just in bead down my face while riding the trails. This is the only short coming in the helmet. There’s not an option to add a more resilient guard either. In addition something to note, wearing the helmet after a hour with cause head fatigue from the boa system. I absolutely loved my Proframe RS.The visibility through the face guard is so much better than other full face designs I have riden.The BOA allowed for a nice snug fit, and the magnetic chin strap is easy to operate, even while wearing gloves.I took it for it's inaugural ride down Boulder Dash @ Angel Fire.I got a carried away on a small table, and didn't get my front tire straightened out after a little whip.Time slowed. I heard crunching noises as I hit the rocks. I'm an amateur MTB rider trying to keep up with my sons and I've had my share of crashes. Knowing the danger of concussions, I wanted the best head protection. This is awesome. MIPs feels great and is super safe. The high ventilation design of this helmet is great for hot climates. I love the magnetic buckle clip for the chin strap. Very secure, yet enables easy removal for taking a break during a breather and enjoying the mountain views. Would recommend this to anyone serious enough to move beyond gravel biking to MTB.
This helmet is lightweight and has great airflow. I live in Florida where the heat index with humidity can be 110 at times so the airflow is essential! I recently crashed hard on a jump line wearing the Proframe RS helmet. If it weren't for this helmet, I likely wouldn't be typing this review! The helmet crushed on impact in numerous places but I walked away without any major injuries. I'm buying a replacement Fox Proframe RS because I have full faith in it's ability to keep me cool and protected. While a bit pricey, this helmet is worth it's weight in gold.
The helmet sounds and looks so fantastic that after ample research with competitor products I decided to go for it.Yet, the large one I received was far too large, and the medium was uncomfortably small. I read about sizing issues with this helmet, but that neither fit was a sad surprise.Since none worked I asked Fox to refund my repeat return shipment costs but no such luck.
