The Fox Rampage Helmet is a full-face helmet that was manufactured and designed specifically for downhill riders but is also used extensively by the BMX crowd as well. Inspired by Fox’s podium proven Rampage Pro Carbon helmet, the Rampage is a more value-added full-face helmet for riders on a budget that are still looking for proven protection with all of the bells and whistles still built in. Features would include proven MIPS protection, which stands for Multi-Direction Impact Protection System. MIPS technology mimics the brain's protective structure by reducing rotational forces caused by angled impacts to the head. The helmet’s shell and liner are separated by a low friction layer which allows the helmet to slide, noticeably reducing trauma to the brain in the case of oblique impacts. Adding even more protection and padding is the Injective ABS molded shell, which also aids in helping to separate and spread out those harsh impacts. 7 vents up top keep air flowing over the top of your head to keep you cool while 4 smaller vents in the front of helmet keep air flowing too. A large mesh vent with a screen is also located over your mouth and that also provides ventilation while filtering out dirt and debris from the trail. A D Ring closure system hold everything together and synched down easily and effectively. Lastly, an adjustable visor has three positions and shields the sun while providing increased protection as well.
