This makes it challenging when putting on or taking off a shirt or jacket over it. They always get hung up on it plus it looks goofy. On the plus side this armor offers great protection which is why I bought it. It offers the most coverage of any jacket out there and is comfortable whether I am riding moto, mountain bike, sledding, or skiing.-m-DIRT BIKE--

I think it runs a little on the small side but when I removed the back protection it fit very well. I use a backpack and didn't want the back armor so it's very comfortable that way. I rode 50 miles of ruff trail Monday and it was not noticeable at all. It was only 55 deg. though and may prove to be hot this summer.I can't say anything about durability because I only used it once.

This is very comfortable! I bought this one, and the Astars Bionic one at the same time. Both are awesome, comfy, and breathe well. I'm in Texas, where it's brutally hot lately, 103-109 with high humidity, and neither one of these let me down. Was kind of tricky to get off,.once you're soaked in sweat! Well worth the money, for either one.

Great Jacket but sizes were to small
7 June 2022

I loved this Jacket. I especially liked how the armor was kept in place. Being 6' tall 250lbs I went for the largest size. It fit not bad in the chest area but very tight in the stomach. The body length was a bit short but the sleeves were super long (that was good). The neck was a bit small. Being a jacket form the armor was held in place nicely. The one thing I really didn't like was it had a zipper. If the $2 zipper breaks that's a lot of money lost. I'm going to return it and try another brand with no zipper and larger sizes

Maybe not for women with larger chest
15 February 2023

It fit me well female medium size and usually wear women's medium. However it rides up on your female chest and this is a very bulky protection. I'm an enduro rider and it was smashing into my helmet on chippy sections. I think this might work better for men or small chested women. I ended up buying another product from fox specifically designed for women that fits much better. It's definetly a Heavy Duty style protector and well made it's fantastic quality and I'm sad it didn't work out for me.

Nothing Better for Summer ADV Riding
14 July 2017

I own a nice KLIM jacket, but was unsure on what range of conditions we would encounter on our long ride. We were riding during a time when many of the trails were closed for snow and landslides, so I did not know if that meant I would run into cold and rainy conditions or not. I have ridden with just the Titan Jacket on the freeway at an ext temp of 60 before and even though it was do able, it was still pretty cold. In the end I decided to take a chance on wearing this jacket and leaving my KLIM jacket at home. The KLIM would have probably been ok, but mine has high vis on it and I mostly bought it for 4 seasons riding around town. I didn't want to cover it in dust and mud for 2 weeks, so I just decided to take the Titan Armor and a rain coat to wear over it in case of rain.I was very happy to have chosen this jacket although in reality I don't know how safe it would have been had I wrecked at a higher speed on the main roads. I went down two times in the armor on the trails and came out just fine. I actually think it has better padding than most standard jackets, but that doesn't mean it holds your body together as well as leathers or a nice cordura jacket. I was nervous the armor would just tear off if I skid on a normal road. The ride was dry and dusty and very hot (into the 90's), for the majority of the time. I was very comfortable in the armor and every time everyone else looked like they were dying in their snow coats, they all told me they'd wished they had brought the same thing along. My only real complaint on the jacket, is that when it got really dusty, the zipper was hard to engage. I was actually getting worried about halfway through the trip that it would break.Pros- Lightweight, durable, easy to clean, well ventilated, very comfortable, great range of motionCons- Street Safety? Zipper size/ operation in long dirty conditions is poor

Perfect for rapid unplanned dismounts
1 June 2021

I've crashed in this jacket probably fifty times in the past year in a rocky OHV park and a few times on tarmac too. It's basically impervious to impact and abrasion on the elbows and shoulders where I usually go down, so top marks there. It also breathes better than anything else on those first gear, 80+ degree days, doesn't limit your range of motion, and sheds dirt and sand really well with a quick hosing off afterwards. It's even been stabbed by sharp branches in mesh-only areas (which hurts), but no rips or pulls yet! Five stars then!

This is a great jacket but not perfect
17 October 2018

I've had this in XL size for about 3 years now. I wear this over a wicking shirt and without a jersey unless it's cold out.The jacket has held up well over the years though it has some minor rips and tears from trailside thorny vines that whip across it when I'm riding at speed. I use the arm pads to deflect small branches. The zipper is a little rough, but I lube it with some teflon dry spray lube and it keeps it in working order.Pros:Fairly good protection. The shoulder and arm protection is some of the most complete coverage I've found. I have not bruised arms from any fall yet. The shoulder pads have deflected a few close tree hits well. The jacket is reasonably comfortable and flows an ok amount of air. I wear this in the south in the summer and it's ... MoreI've had this in XL size for about 3 years now. The jacket is reasonably comfortable and flows an ok amount of air. I wear this in the south in the summer and it's tolerable though on 100 degree days it's almost unbearable, but it might be unbearable without it on. I always wear it. The back protector is solid and goes well down your back. Reasonably unrestricted movement. Feel naked without it.Cons:Kidney belt causes the chest portion to ride up slightly on me. I do not have a large gut.Long back protector makes it impossible to tuck in a jersey if you have it on top of the jacket.Zipper could be better, a nice wide tooth YKK or similar would have been great. The various latches come undone all the time. It doesn't seem to impact the protection, but is a pain if you just put on a pack which popped off the rear shoulder strap and then can't reach it to reattach. The Biggest Con, and this is causing me to start to look elsewhere for my next set of armor, is a complete lack of side rib protection. My front tire deflected off a log at speed and sent me to the ground where I landed hard on my side.Shoulder and arm ok. The fall drove my elbow into my ribs on the side and bruised the ribs severely (not broken, had xray). I am still hurting 4 weeks later. I have to believe that if this jacket had wrap around rib protection that this would have been a minor incident. Granted, this is the first time in three years that I've had anything like this happen, but I have been in enough pain just breathing and trying to function that I never want this to happen again. If they ever make a version 2 of this jacket, they should increase the front hard plate length a couple inches, provide actual side rib protection, and put in a quality zipper. If they did this, the jacket would be unbeatable.-m-DIRT BIKE--

Titan youth jacket
13 October 2022

Perfect for my small 9 year old girl (51”, 60lbs) with plenty of space to grow into it. Has been great for bike park use after a crash without a chest protector. I like the back protection and the waist belt compared to the more minimalist roost guards. Has been great for building her confidence back as she is doing more features and jumps/drops. It is what they rent at our nearest bike park.

good coverage, adjusters don't stay
31 July 2018

Really the only thing negative is that the elastic adjusters don't hold. They seem like good sliders that would work with webbing but they just don't grab tight enough to the flexible elastic, so every stretch they wiggle looser, most noticeable on the ones over the ribs between back and chest panels, they are both always full loose when I check it during riding. I fixed it by tying strips of innertube next to the slider to block them in place.Everything else is great:Best coverage around the waist/hips of anything out there. padding is soft and flexible but hard shells have held up to a few falls without any issues. I wear a jersey over top and overall is pretty breathable. I wear a jersey over top and overall is pretty breathable. The padding covers hip bones and kidneys with plenty of thickness, but it is segmented apart from the chest protector itself, so still very flexible through the trunk. The velcro belly strap is dedicated for the hip protection and works great to hold it in place.I wear hockey breezers with it now, which cover the waist area much better than any motorcycle options (still extremely flexible and breathable, even CE tag on my pair). Some of the waist coverage is redundant now, but it was a priority when I was buying, and it overlaps great with my hockey pants and slides together with no snagging or gap in coverage. The back protector fits well with the EVS R3 collar, I was worried they would hang up on each other but so far it isn't a problem unless I go over 45+ and the collar blows back out of place. I could easily fix it by drilling to attach the collar to lock it down, but have not yet.
