I absolutely love these shoes. I've ridden the Leatts and Five Tens for a long time, and these are hands down better than those two. The grip is amazing and they're super comfortable. I love that they're light yet strong. Finally, they look great! Get ya some.

Bummer that Fox isn’t offering sizing for women! I’m an average 7.5 or 8 in women’s shoes and I barely fit into the range Fox offers for unisex sizing. But sadly Fox doesn’t currently offer them in increments of half sizes for the smaller sizes so these shoes fit extremely narrow and tight. These shoes would be perfect if Fox’s sizing was more inclusive. I’m surprised Fox chose to do this.

This shoes sorta came a little narrow for my wider than average foot. Had some lateral pain, actually and was about to give these away… but the high grip and good pedal feel convinced me to try and “break them in”. Glad I did! After about 20 miles of wear the shoes fit great. Just rode RenoFlagBearDeadman in Crested butte (20 miles, 4K-ish of climb/descent) and they felt great! Zero issues! Great support and pedal feel. Highly recommended!!!

I've seen lots of reviews for this shoe online and all of them seem to praise the excellent grip which is why I decided to take the plunge. While the shoe is nice and comfortable, it dries quickly and looks great, I found the grip to be lacking. It could be my pedals (Hope F20), but in my case my feet slipped on multiple occasions on not so rough descends and caused a big crash off a jump when my feet came off the pedals.I gave them a few chances (4 rides of around 30k each) and it is possible that the rubber isn't the grippiest in colder temperatures (around 10 degrees Celsius).Unfortunately I'll be retiring them after falling off a jump I've done 10s of times before where my feet came off the pedals. I ended up hitting my head very hard, my nose was covered in ... MoreI've seen lots of reviews for this shoe online and all of them seem to praise the excellent grip which is why I decided to take the plunge. Cool looking shoe, toe is narrow for me. I am normally an 11 in everything and feel like i'm right in between 11 (very tight toebox) and 11.5 (perfect toe but too long) in these flat shoes. Frustratingly, they fit me almost exactly like the Five Ten Freerider Pros or Ride Concepts Hellion/Elite where i'm right in between an 11/11.5. I have a normal width foot, not sure why I have so much trouble finding a toebox that doesn't smash on the width- The only shoe that has worked for me so far are 1/2 size up Specialized 2FO Roosts- Hopefully this helps someone
I've had thes shoes for over a month. They fit great with no pressure points. They grip the pedals so well I almost thought I had on clip less. I initially didn't want the beige color but that's all they had. They look great and wipe off easy. They worked very well riding through water and dried quickly...just remove the foot bed.
Trying out Union flat shoes after many years on Five Tens. The rubber is nearly as grippy but the sole is a little flexier compared to the Freerider Pros. I did notice some slight foot fatigue on extended descents. The Unions are narrower and lower volume overall compared to the Freeriders, something to consider if you have wide feet. The laces on the Unions are nice and grippy so they stay tied, however the laces could use some additional length so you can actually tuck them away. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase.
Overall really satisfied with the shoe. The grip is on par with competitors maybe even a little better. Have a handful of rides on them and have held up to minor wet and muddy rides. Only complaint is they are a tad stiff. May improve as they wear in. Looks wise they are a little boring but if they hood up it’s not really an issue. Would be nice if the Velcro strap was an option for the flats. Awesome shoe that I would likely purchase again!
Shoes really cover all the bases on a solid pair of flats. Have had good results in dry and wet. Fits my feet fairly well. Took several wears to get my wide toe box to feel comfortable. Nice and sticky to the pedals. Bottom sole has been holding up fairly well. Have had them for a couple of months and they have held up better, so far, compared to other flats I have used.
Could never understand why Fox didn't have mtb shoes to go along with all their other riding gear. I only ride flats and am very particular about the shoes I pair up with my pedals. The new Union Flat shoes check all the boxes when it comes to grip, comfort, performance and aestetics. They flat out perform ( No pun intended). Have friends who only swear by the brand with 2 numbers and let me tell you, the rubber compound and tread design on the Unions are amazing! I'm rocking the grey color and get lots of compliments. Hoping Fox comes out with a future flat model that incorporates the Boa.
