These skates feel great underneath my feet and did not hurt like my hockey skates usually start off doing. The wheels are smooth and seem to be wearing not very quick. The strap on the top is a little hard to get on and off but have had no problem with anything coming loose. The boots feel flexible enough but rigid as needed.I May not remember how to stop well anymore but these are a good entry level skate for people who want to relive the enjoyment of skating around as a child :D

Very good service from Skatepro. But this skate is very small in size: I am EU41 which means K2 EU41.5 is a bit too large for me. Then I bought EU41 FR8 80, too small, cannot get my feet in. Changed to EU42, still too small, my feet in bending a lot inside : ( I will maybe try with EU43 but a bit tired of returning...

Used them twice so far and they are quite sturdy. I ordered them first on my normal shoes size but found out it was too tight so I ordered one size bigger and it fits better. I would say try ordering one or two size bigger, it has a lot of locking up systems and the boot is really thick so keep that in mind. The only issue is with my right foot where near the upper part of the arch there is something that keeps pinching me but it goes away as soon as I start skating

Amazing skates. I just took up skating so these are my first pair and I can’t think how I could be happier with them. The wheels are soft (but not too soft) and they’re quick and smooth even over slightly rougher ground. I feel like I can get quick sharp turns in with ease and they’re comfy. My only recommendation is going larger than you think. I’m US size 11 so I ordered 11.5 based on the size guide but I had to return and get size 12.

Great skates! The shorter frame makes them very responsive and easy to maneuver. I did swap out the liner with a pair of MYFIT liners for a more comfortable fit/feel. I have also installed a plastic buckle system over the ankle for increased support instead of using the Velcro buckle system it comes with (but I have narrow feet and like to feel a little more secure in my skates). All in all, I have been very pleased with both these skates and the prompt service SkatePro offers.

Yeah , in first week lost cuff bolt , middle wheels to rotate was nearly impossible, somehow removed 3 wheels (price- broken original roces Allen key ( 25cm ) few other keys other brand ) , I requested make return but delayed in hope to not give up on nice and good skate , make decisions send it back was difficult...It was first FR I've ever tried , strongly sad of bad impression...( Dunno maybe there was just factory unqualified )However giving 4 from 5 because of stability, quality frame , too much support for beginner level.Size chart kind of wrong , foot fit well with inner side bones pain by ankle.

I’m terrible at remembering to review items, but this deserves a raving review. It’s been 15 years since I put on skates. Used to be a skating fool as a kid. Wanted to be Brink and go to the x games. Well I didn’t do that. Instead I sat on my ass behind a computer screen for 15 years.Well these skates have gotten me up and out. They are fast and smooth. They are super comfortable. I’m a size 12 shoe and got a size 12. They inspire me to get out and hit the road! So grateful to have found this brand. Shipping was just over a week. Couldn’t be happier!

Excellent skates and excellent help from Bayside

These skates are perfect for me getting back into blading after some years. And Bayside were brilliant in their advice on skates and sizes. Definitely contact the Bayside team before buying and do the foot sizing and tracing guide. I never would have got the size right on my own and the advice on skates for my budget was also brilliant.Legends!

Great skates & helpful advice

Love these entry level skates and much better than my RB Spark 84’s which I had for 6 years and hardly used. Love them so much in 4 weeks have already surpassed 6 years on the old pair. Good on-line advice. I measure 28.5mm and was advised to buy the 29.5mm size 12s which are perfect ATM. Will be interested to see if they pack down much.

This FR freeskate has an upgraded liner for enhanced fit. The FRX 80 skate comes with ABEC 7 bearings for an effortless roll, an upgraded X2R frame and Street Kings Wheels. Stability, fit and a playful skate is the core within this skate. This skate is born with the X2R frame which offers a unique opportunity to ride with either a flat or a mild rockered setup. The flat setup provides stability at higher speeds, whereas the mild rockered setup offers good manoeuvrability and short turning radius - Often sought after by slalom riders.
