This is a solid case for the server build I've been working on using a Epyc SoC setup. While there wasn't much provided for cable management there was definitely enough room for everything else. I like how they have the PSU placement further up front in the case with the bottom venting available for the PSU's fan. By moving it up front inside the case they were able to have the motherboard placement right in the back end of the case without any other obstructions. They also included a small PSU power cable to connect to which goes to a port right on the back. A couple areas I did have concern with is the fan wiring for the two front fans were on the short end which meant I had to route the furthest fan from the onboard fan controller up through the upper frame which ... Absolutely the best case I've ever owned and joyful to work with. Every part of it screams engineered to make a quiet and cool system. The parts are laid out well and are intuitive to work with for the most part (just make sure you install the power supply first, like the manual says). My only real complaint (and a very small one, at that) is that they tightened all the thumb screws so much that I had to use a screwdriver just to initially loosen them. The washers under them were all bent and warped by the screws being tightened too much. It's definitely good for the case to be securely put together for shipping, but if the washers are bent and warped when you tighten the screw, you're using way too much force!

Just built a i7, Nvidia 1070 beast using this case. Look great and very quiet.Most people have pointed out the PSU issue - smaller is definitely better. I reckon its 160 max without some serious cable bending if you're fitting a big graphics card. I dont think a 2.5 width card would fit well either as it would probably catch on the side of the case. The 1070 i bought was 2 slots wide (evga) and fits no problem.Also you lose a couple of HDD mounts putting in a big gpu.I fitted the seidon v2 aio water cooler for the CPU, the radiator and fan fits easily into the space where the normal 140 mm fan goes plus a couple of cm outward into the box. Used for a micro server build, the case needed to be small, cool and quiet. So far it meets the requirements. The fans provided are efficient and quiet enough for my needs but are fairly basic in capability. I didnt use the manual control unit fitted to the case, i connected them directly to the MB. This worked for me in DC mode but it would be better with PWM fans. The quality of the case is good but as it is small and compact you need to plan your cable management carefully. Overall a good case for my needs.
Well-built case with good options for different configurations. Space is tight (that's kind of the point), so needs good cable management. Note the case has a maximum allowable length *and* width of GPUs that will fit. If you are packing lots in (especially a larger GPU), I'd suggest a smaller PSU to get back a bit of room. The case gives the MOBO a lot of headroom, so supports fairly large CPU coolers, which I'd recommend to help with cooling.

My initial build took some planning mainly due to the limitations on the size of the PSU due to the placement of the mounting bracket. I tried 5 different modular PSU's before I got what worked best. 2 of the others fit with my graphics card installed but were a noisier than I liked. I settled on the Seasonic S12G 750W. This fits with plenty of clearance for a big GPU. That was the only real problem I had to solve with this case. The screws included with the drive brackets are not good, but really are just a minor annoyance. There was one reviewer who trashed the case because he said he couldn't get the drive brackets off. I guess he never heard of WD-40. Better still is a few drops of Silicone lubricant applied with a Q-Tip. I can not stress enough how well thought out the airflow is in the case. The two 92mm fans do a good job of bringin cool air into the case while the 140mm exhaust gets the hot air out. What is more is the thoughtful placement of an intake vent positioned next to the GPU slot, and it being full length in order to allow all of the GPU cooler fans access to cool air. Another nice touch is the bottom intake vent for your PSU and an exhaust vent for the exit of its heat as well. The dust filters are another nice touch and they work great. The are positioned at all of your intake points and stop 99% of the dust in your environment from getting inside your rig. I've got 3 cats and a dog so that is a lot of dander, not including the stuff that the 3 other humans in the house generate. To this day when I open the case, as I occasionally do, for cleaning and component health inspection I find very little dust at all. A few blasts of canned air and a rinse of the filters and your done. These days the box resides on a shelf in my media cabinet hooked up to an AV receiver via HDMI. It's a livig room Steambox now and all of this case's winning attributes suit it well there. It's quite, stays cool even behind a glass door and passes the wife acceptance factor because it's out of sight and unheard except for a whoosh of air when it is under load. I just love it! The box is supposed to be able to hold six hard drives, and it will, but ... I'd hate to see the rat's nest of cables you'd end up with. My system as built uses three hard drives, allowing me to use one of the hard drive "bays" to hold the extra cabling that you end up with when you mix cables that are long enough to fit in a full tower case in a case that's little ... Not the fault of Fractal or this box, just an observation. Another observation: if you go down the mITX route, I can't overstress how important planning is, not just on the build, but on choosing the parts that go into the build. Understand what parts you'll need, and thoroughly understand what fits where on your MB, and make sure the case you buy is compatible with your plans. For example, I noticed the MB I have has the HD audio header right in front of the PCI slot -- if I had planned on using a GPU, it wouldn't have fit with the HD audio turned on. That wouldn't have been a big deal for me, but some people still use the HD audio ports . Again, not the fault of the case, just an observation. Overall, this is a great case. Most of the observations I made are more to do with the challenges of building in a small case, rather than this case in and of itself. If you're looking for a moderately-priced, cleverly-built, good-looking case that could sit in your living room and have no one be the wiser that it's a computer, this is a case for you.

If it does, you'll have to drill some new holes for the rear 140mm fan like I did. Without the backplate, others have reported about 2mm clearance (good 'nuff). Obviously without a dGPU you'll have no issues. When building my NAS/HTPC/gaming rig, this was my dream case. It fits everything I wanted in there and more. I've literally barely touched the PC and the front panel headphone /microphone icons have been almost totally scraped off. More importantly, the headphone jack on the front has recessed and now the 1/8" miniplug jacks short when I plug in speakers (the loud "hum" indicating a fault). Yep, it's got QC issues, knocking off 1 star. I'm not returning it as I don't plan to use the miniplug, but I bought this for $60, now that it's up to $80 that's a lot less forgivable. For $60 it's still a deal as there's not much else like it especially if you want a 4-6 x 3.5" drive DIY NAS. I can probably fix the front panel if I wanted to but I sure hope I don't have the powerswitch issues others have had. I bet these are common issues. I wonder what's happening (maybe packaged wrong? donno)
The case is very good. However I found several small scratches inside the case. Screws were put in the wrong places by the previous buyer so it confused me at first. Clearly this is a returned case even if sold as new.
